I was looking for a place on here to see if any AZ Golfwrx golfers were playing on the weekends anywhere when i found this thread so is there any room left for this outing next month ? Also im always looking for an excuse to play a round on the weekend when im not working and my normal group is off doing something else. so if any of you guys up for a round this weekend or whenever let me know, always looking to meet new golf people

So if we are doing a ryder cup style me and mark have picked ourselves as captains ha! We are thinking of creating matches then randomly putting them on eachothers teams. GolfJunki and Vindog nobody has played with before so if you could both message me your handicaps please so we can try and find you a competitor. For now this is what we have drawn up. It is a very early rendition and I am open to Vetos if you don't want to play the match below

We'll give them until 8/10 to confirm via PM and then open it up to friends. My guess is that we will end up with 1-2 spots open having done a few of these types of things over the years and knowing that stuff simply happens and people can't make it.

I'll be out of the country from tomorrow around 7:30pm until 8/9 around 5:00pm so please expect slightly more delayed responses.

Just to Kind of keep everyone up to date on the matches. Me and Mark though it would be cool to do the first 9 holes in 4 ball format then the last 9 holes in your respective Match Play matches. Each win earning 1 point and a tie earning 1/2 a point.

This way everyone plays their own ball through the round but we can add some excitement.

Why not just do match play for 18 and also 4 ball for 18? That way you have 3 points up for grabs in each group, and for the whole thing there will be 12 points. That's how we format it when we do our inter-department cup at work.
