Pige,

At the top of this page there must be a swing video? I've got my internet settings so amped up I can't see it. Would love to lob another friendly "thing" about your ball flight but it may be best if I didn't. Sounds like you did everything but turn yourself into a pretzel already. If the day comes I can see it - and if I spot anything I'll let you know but as said.... there comes that point where it is what it is. Wish I could offer a boost. LOL.

Yes sir, i may just have to settle for being a low ball hitter. I'll get you a link to my YouTube page so you can see the latest version of your work sir. And as always, your thoughts are welcomed :)

Well I can't say I've ever stepped from DTL and FO view to the bee-hind view - LOL.

If I'm seeing it right - there are 280+ drives in these clips and it sounds like you're hitting 'em in play most of the time. So the first advice would be --- you don't need any advice!!! LOL.

If you want me to guess from the bee-hind view...

1) Stance width "could be" widened by 1/2 shoe width moving the back foot. From that tweak - keep your left knee from drifting laterally over the back foot. The extra width will allow you to still TURN without locking up you hips. The knee thing will prevent a little lower body sway.
2) Trail side (your left) elbow is probably a fraction high at address. It was in the older vids as seen DTL. Your shoulders will square up better if you tweak that. The trail hand being lower than the lead hand for all golfers makes us open the shoulders at address. When we try and fix the shoulder line properly that trail elbow would appear fractionally closer to the body as seen DTL.
3) The right elbow is bending a hair at the top - not the end of the world but signals a need for LETTING the wrists hinge more going back and unhinge off of a straighter arm coming down. This (as is) compromises a little width of swing going back and causes the hands to land a little closer to the head vs away from the target. Could be as simple as making sure the handle is not too deep in your (right) palm when you take your grip.
4) Keep your right ear behind the ball through the whole swing - bump the right hip a couple of inches (max) toward the target at address.

#1 and #4 gets your secondary spine tilt up and running and will launch the ball higher. (unless you move the ball back in your stance it will).

#2 and #3 may help you do the above without ballooning it -- will preserve forward release power and solid contact.

....how's that for a bee-hind analysis?

EDIT: Think "U" shaped swings - the thing my eye goes to most is the trail knee and the bent left elbow at the top. You're a little "V" shaped in your swing and the numbers in your AoA are most likely tied to these little leaks. V shaped swings tempt you to place the ball in the middle of the stance and/or sway the hips.

Anytime. Be prepared to curse me good. No one can implement four things at once. Its overload! That's why I started with the fact you're doing just fine as is so feel free to chuck my nonsense since you're NOT exactly broken as is. This is also why I spoke in terms of tweaks. Too much secondary spine tilt is perhaps worse than not enough. You'll know its going too far if/when you can't resist the urge to apply a ton of forward press. (a little is fine but a ton is bad - especially for the driver). At first you may hit some hooks or flares out to left field since your not used to it.

If you REALLY like this - the name is Reasey - if you want to curse my soul good - my real name is PEANUTS DADDY --- LOL!!!!!

Speaking of PD. Where is his wonderful self? Is he in the
tropics? Teachers take sabbaticals. So maybe he's on a
sabbatical conveniently located near warm golf courses.

Been wondering the same thing, it's not like PD to go Mia like this.
[/quote]

Exactly - that's one reason I was sort of (aka blatantly) trolling him. Its a short week for teachers in many parts - lots of testing and such going on. Mrs. Reason is a teacher btw or I wouldn't know that much. Hopefully he's just a bit bumbled up in that stuff for now. Fingers crossed all is well with him and his family.

You forget Pigs is a lefty already? I've played with lefties often. NO
WAY I can figure those swings out, LOL. On GC once they reversed
Phil as they did an analysis. Finally understood what they were
talking about seeing him as a right hander.

Watch out for those hooks into left field Pigs! LOL

Flares to left field - his push. Hooks - to his right. He may suffer one or both getting into a little more secondary tilt and swinging with more width. LOL.

To your point it was a challenge to see him backwards AND left handed. Good thing I was born breach - LOL.

how many of my canadian brethren have been working on their putting game over the winter? I set up a hitting net for the offseason but still keep going back to putting "ladder" drills in the basement. Start with a tap in and work my way up to 10 footers. Have to make everything or I shock myself with a bbq lighter.

kidding about the lighter

I find a 360 amp hour marine battery gets the point across more efficiently.

So I just checked the SW on my driver after adding a couple strips of lead tape to get it feeling good last night, it came in right around D3/D4, kind of teetering back and forth right on the line.

I have one of those electric return thingies and plug it in once and a while on the carpet in our condo sometimes leave it there for a few days.
Did some real putting green practice last weekend though and played a round yesterday. The greens were slow but putting was the only thing that was reasonable about my game. Put in my old 2ball White Steel to allow for slow greens and not worry about any sand or grit on the face. It's an old faithful and I think I'm going back to it as my gamer. It just feels like point and shoot without overthinking.

The other day I put some impact tape on that putter ( that I got after Pigem's posting about same). I was quite surprised that at least on the carpet every strike was in the centre of the impact tape, where the metal on the insert is. That didn't hurt my comfort zone when I put it in the bag for play yesterday.
