I just ordered myself a set. I should have them by Thursday and hopefully built by this weekend.
That's awesome man , congratulations on taking the plunge .
Is this your first set of Miuras ?
Am really looking forward to hearing how they are with the KBS Tour V .
Please keep us updated and post up some photos when you get them .
This is my 5th set of miuras. I had the 501s on 3 separate occasions and the MB 001 towards the end of last year. I believe my MB 001s are currently being sold on the BST. Lol.

As for the Tour Vs, they are great shafts. I had them in my MB 001 and I got good results. I sold them off for something more forgiving but I should have kept them. I'm hoping the new CBs are going to be the answer.
Wow , that's awesome .
I'm still on my first set of Miura irons but not for long .
I also took the plunge !
Originally I was just going to order the CB57s in 7-PW .
Ever since I tried them a few weeks ago I can't get them out of my head so I decided to scratch the itch to the tune of 4-PW that'll be made up with KBS C-Taper Lites S flex .
Can not wait !
Am looking forward to hearing how yours play when you get em .

Add the awesome Miura special grind wedges, you will be in heaven.

Love the Miura wedges !
Haven't tried the C , Y or K grinds yet but will play around with them once I've worn through the existing ones .
I have heard nothing but great things about them though .

I'm adding the Y Grind 53 and 60 into the bag. Its gonna be hard to take out my Scratch Tour Dept wedges tho.

I have to agree with nitram on this one and that's nothing against the Scratch wedges as they're a great wedge but the Miuras are a whole new level !
Looking forward to seeing pics of your new set when you get em !

As mentioned earlier I've only played and still only play the New Wedge Series and I absolutely love em !
I have 4 of them in total and rotate them depending on how I want to play !
I have a 51 bent to 50 , a 53 bent to 52 , a 55 bent to 54 and a 59 .
If I carry a 3 & 5 wood then ill play the 52 & the 59 but recently I've had my best results from my fairway set to about a 4 wood and carrying my 50 , 54 & 59 wedges .
I have found them to perform magnificently all round the course !
The grind's never been an issue for me .

I picked up my set late last night. Man it looks good in the bag. Gonna take some shots of it later tonight.

I'm sure the Miura wedges are gonna work out fine. I had all three grinds Y, K and C in previous build. I didn't like the K or C as much as the Y. I'm hoping the 53Y and 60Y is a solid set up. I'm getting the wedges built tomorrow so I can have them for the weekend.

On a side note, I picked up a Miura Sun Mountain StaDry bag and its pretty legit. Pretty light for being a bigger carry bag.

y are my pick of the liter as well.

Had both the c and k. Although I liked the c better than the k, nothing beats the y in the 1957 wedge series.

Playing the black Miura wedges as of now, and prefer them to anything else in their wedge line. If I were to switch though, it'd be the 1957 y.

Do you find the black wedges have a different feel to the satin wedges ?
Oh so slightly, wouldn't choose them based on that though. I like the raw and worn look of them. Plus with all the grind talk, I just made it simple and chose the one without a grind.

They have the best look, shape, and feel of any wedge I've tried. They have low bounce and thin soles which helps me on a variety of courses.

When I'm on tight (links style) courses I can just swing away, and have to really focus on technique when playing soft courses. Which is the best of both worlds imo.

You & I definitely speak the same language MJ !
I purchased my wedges before the black ones came out . I purchased them as I was very happy with the traditional shape . The course I play has a lot of tight lies and have served me magnificently . I've replaced the LW once . I expect that by the time it needs to be replaced again so to will the rest in my set . I may lean towards the black finish and get one to try .
When you had your set of 57s built did you stick with the stock lofts ?
Same lofts with the exception of 48° Pw to better match the 54° and 60° weed setup.

I have a gap between my 5 iron and 20° hybrid though. Not really sure how I can feel it. I've tried hybrids, driving irons, 4 irons and nothing really fits the mold for me. So there's like a 30 yard gap in that part of my bag.

So everything is stock specs except for 48° PW.

Now there's a question for the ages !
As stated earlier I've ordered 4 - PW in the 57s . I carry a new Cobra Fly Z hybrid in 20.5 degrees . I'm pretty sure I'm going to try a 4 Hybrid for the first time and if that doesn't work I'll play either the 4 in the 57s or even put my Passing Point Straight Neck 4 back in the bag .

Finally got a chance to take the irons and wedges out for a spin. The irons are solid. They feel soft and firm at the same time. The ball explodes off the face of the club. It was very easy to work the ball. The wedges are good. I was able to chip a couple of balls within 6 inches. The Y grind performed well on tight or thick rough. I didn't catch any bunkers so I'm not 100% yet.

Overall the CB57s are the most forgiving Miura I've owned and I'm pleased with the first round result. I have to dial in the yardagE bcuz I gained a about 5 yards a club. It's probably a combination of new swing changes and shafts.
