Thought I'd start a thread so we can share some our pics from courses we've played in TX. Could be anything from your favorite hole on your home course to some great course you only payed once, but are dying to go back to

18th @ La Cantera Palmer Course, San Antonio, TX

 

 

17th @ Trails of Frisco, Frisco, TX, btw i posted this one because i still have not figured out how to play it. risk reward hole but very tough on the risk...at least for me!

Great idea OP!

This is #1 at Colovista in Bastrop, this hole shouldn't be that difficult but it eats my lunch for some reason.

#16 at Colovista, one of my favorite holes ever, especially for central Texas. If I ever get a HIO I hope it's on this hole, this is the picture I want on the plaque.

No 16 a Colovista is truly spectacular. I'm glad they reopened the course. We were going to play there this weekend, but decided to give Pine Forest a shot. They have some nice holes also.

I play Colovista all the time, wasn't too impressed with Pine Forest when I played there, it was way too busy, but they do have some scenic holes.

These are from a few years ago at Whispering Pines just outside of Trinity, TX. Only time I've been out there and it's absolutely stunning.

i need to drive down to san antone next week so will stop by for a quick round on the way down

its almost like playing 2 different courses, front nine pretty open, back nine a bunch of trees. pretty cool little course and watch out for those fast greens

Back when Teeoff.com was EZlinks I was getting on Colovista for $9 with cart multiple times a week, for months. It was the best $9 course ever. Now I just pay the regular price as it's still worth it to me. The front 9 is something like links style but the back 9 is what makes the course. Also, it's never busy, which is awesome. It's great to have a place you can just jump onto on a Saturday or Sunday morning with no tee time, and likely not even get paired up. Not the nicest course in the world, but worth every bit of the $30-$40 it costs. Hope you enjoy it.

Dallas Athletic Club in the summer is my favorite place in earth. Fortunate to play it every once in a while.
