That's a lot of volt!

Doesn't look like a lot of shaft options?

Yeah it looks like all stock shafts in different weights and flex? They need to add upgrade shafts also. Do they have a better selection for the irons?

Yeah, all stock but different flexes like you said.

Irons had c-taper, PX 6.0, S300, X100, etc and some graphite ones.

No idea why I never hit the flex 5 wood until today, this thing is great. I thought the speed was for me until I hit this damn thing! Wow.

I get a total of yards with 5 wood only 220-225, 230 if I am lucky. I was getting past 230 after 3 swings.

Now I am thinking if this is for me, same profile and shape-wise to the 2.0 performance.

Oh Lesmond why'd you have to say that?! I really am enjoying my 2.0 performance fairway woods...... I'm sure I'll find a way to game these, they look great but I have yet to hit them.

When I saw the Speed woods they reminded me of the VR_S line. Those I games but went to the LE heads pretty quickly. I didn't really like the CT 2.0 head which is why I'm gaming the 2.0, I was quite surprised to find that the performance shape was very good looking, almost tour inspired?

Finally pulled the trigger on the Flex with X-Stiff Blueboard. Although, I will probably switch to either a Rogue Silver or Whiteboard to reduce spin. While comparisons have been made between the two, can anybody add anything that would favor one over the other? I like the Silver in my 913 but local shops don't have any Whiteboards to test. Even places with "fitting carts" only seem to have Fubuki's and Blueboards.

So your saying the flex looks like the CP 2.0? That would be great! I haven't seen them in person yet. I'll probably go with the 5 wood and turn it into a 4 wood.
personally, i thought the flex was even a bit smaller at address than the 2.0 or 2.0T. it could be the fact that one is black and the other red (black looks slimming lol) ...

i think a flex 5w as you say notched to a 4w would be dope - i'm pickin mine up soon lol
yea but, i'm going the tried/true version - the original blueboard 73x tipped 1.25". if the shaft doesn't work out i'll hit up peoplesclubs again and find a shaft that works, i'm assuming a fuji pro speeder (the green one that just came out) would be sick in a 4w. he's aleady recommended going to that, should the BB not work out.

Well I stated earlier that the Vapor Pro driver wasn't my cup of tea but I got to hit the Vapor Flex 3 wood today and it was ridiculous! I love the set up, the shape, the sound and the feel and well of course the distance and forgiveness was awesome too! Seriously everything about this fairway wood is incredible! I gotta get rid of some stuff and free up some funds to get this bad boy in my bag pronto! Any lefties need some Mizuno irons or a Ping fairway wood? LOL

That is to my eye, looks like the 2.0 performance when I put it next to each other. I'll find a 2.0 tour vs flex and take a pic when I get a chance.

Just saw them both side by side, Flex is definitely deeper than the 2.0 and seems like the 2.0 is almost pear shaped vs the more round shape.

As good as I hit my 2.0's, I'll be sticking to these I think. Think is the key word. Maybe...

Hey there MerryTex. I was recently fit into the Flex driver with TS 6.2 Stiff. I've picked up the driver but it's been frigid here and haven't hit outside yet. Monitor was great. Any feedback on your 6.2x / Flex combo so far?

Just wrote this up in my WITB.
Haven't hit the center this consistent in a while. A pretty good night to test the new shaft.

Very stable shaft, feels almost like a WB or Oban White - smooth IMO, stable on miss hits, I can shape the ball without really exaggerating any swing movements. I will probably cut it down on the butt end since I had it tipped 1/2 in prior to the adapter being installed. I think it's at 45.5 but I will most likely play it at 45 or 44 3/4.

I wasn't too shy to try this shaft even after seeing that it's a L/L shaft but I've actually played well with those types of shafts - D+, WB, RIP and now the 6.2 TS. I liked that at the 10.5/N setting I was really getting a nice mid flight and I was able to hit lower shots and higher without making drastic changes. I tried to make swings like I normally would and imagine I didn't change the shaft at all and it worked. The more I hit it, the more comfortable I felt. I didn't want to stop hitting this club - must have hit 60 balls in a row.

Great to hear, I'm so excited to get it out on the course! I was fit for the shaft and we went back and forth b/w the Flex and DBD. Proceeded to test them against eachother on several different occasions and I just couldn't argue with the feel, look and accuracy of the flex. I got a 17.3 launch 1700 spin on one ball! A bit of a push to get the launch that high, but just to know that's achievable is awesome. I hope it holds up in play.

I was quite surprised to see that I was able to play this shaft with no problem. I think you'll find the same too.

Hhmmm... i'm really curious how a VC 6.2 TS X would feel with the Vapor Pro. Last week i hit a VC 7.2 Stiff with a the cobra fly z and it felt great. I played the 661 stiff and then a KK tini X on my last driver (2.0CT). The KK tini X was ok with the Vapor Pro but I'm using this at the moment. The flex point is a bit high for me but i do hit it well and the spin is down. I feel like i'm shaft ho'ing at the moment with fuji's because i have a 661 evo X coming in.

    • Titleist GT drivers - 2024 the Memorial Tournament
Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
