Played Quarry Saturday and they do $30 range pass all day. Range kinda sucks though, only 2 targets 100 yards or less

Dove Mountain was a tad disappointing today. Played Saguaro and Wild Burro. Saguaros greens were terrible and Wild Burro's greens were hairy.

Playing Tucson National Catalina tomorrow and Niners Sunday morning

AZ National today. 90 degree rule. Great rolling greens even if they looked shabby. Not much roll out in the fairways. Rough is in good shape.
Desert was quite dry, dirt and cactus looked good. Sharp tines, too.

They have enough carts? Range balls included? Every time Ive been this year they are out of carts. Love the course but hopefully they have some experienced people running it now

Being up in Phoenix just makes me realize how spoiled I am with living in Tucson. The prices up here in Phoenix are crazy for the quality of courses.

I'm playing Dove Mountain tomorrow for $39.

Dove was great today even though it was a little windy, rainy and cold.

Greens have vastly improved since I last played it in November, but goddamn they had some of the dumbest pin locations on those stupid greens. They were rolling at least at a 10.

All will be in great shape. Tucson National especially due the Champions Tour Mar 20-22. They might close the course on the 14th or so though. [/size]

[size=3]You'll love AZ. Make sure you try and go for the 2nd fairway on the 2nd hole. Gonna need a 280+ drive though to clear the wash. Then its 215 to the green. Ive done it once haha[/size]

Quarry Pines is a blast, the back 9 is incredible. [size=4]El Conquistador. Forty Niners. Starr Pass. Randolph/Del Urich are getting better but simple flat courses. Greens are a tad slow and bumpy too. Way out Southwest is Del Lago which is a great course. You might also check out the "new" Sewailo course at the Casino down south. They have those Surf the Earth boards for $25[/size]

Thanks for the info. Sewailo is also on the agenda. I have a good friend who lives on del lago, so going to try if I have time for that one also. Really looking FWD to the trip. Having a feeling I will go through many many balls.

Sewailo is by far my favorite course in Tucson and is in my top 3 in Arizona just because it's so unique. Must play IMO.

I see that San Ignacio in Green Valley is open again, but I have not been down there yet, so I don't know whether that's a good thing or not!
