I tried a red 9 TX and the tip Section was too soft. Tr blue is much more stable.

The TSR1 hybrid is beautiful from address! What is it like with flight and forgiveness compared to the TSR2 hybrid?

I have always struggled to fine the right club for the between 3 wood and 4 iron space in my bag, the driving iron is great but its a 1 trick pony, off the tee and perfect lies only. Hated having 235-245 into a par 5 out of the rough and not being able to hack something up around the green. the Callaway Apex UW was good for me when I put a heavy hybrid shaft in it but it seemed to have an off flight on a slight toe miss. I have experimented with 5 woods and 7 wood and the 5 woods go too far and the 7 woods i struggle with off the tee. The TSR1 i loved the shape of it because there is very little to no face progression, it looks like a small fairway wood head but sets up more like an iron face look. So it has been quite good for me. Heavy hybrid shaft in it to keep the flight down and i used the -6g weight and added some hotmelt to the front to keep the spin down.  I much prefer the look of the TSR1 over the TSR2 hybrid and was able to get spin in and peak height in the same range by weighting it the way I did.

No I had them welded over and then did the grind and stamping work myself

Dude, awesome looking bag and a very respectable handicap.  Love the driver, 3 wood, irons, and putter.  Enjoy.
