Anyone used Myrtle Beach Caddy Girls?

My group goes down in April and a couple of the guys think it might be a fun add-on for one round. Are the girls knowledgeable/helpful? Fun? Just trying to get a sense of what to expect. Thanks.

Useless and a waste of money. 100$ or more for 18 holes per girl just to join you, plus whatever you feel the need to tip her for. I just don't get it. Go to the strip club after your round if you want to get rubbed on by a good looking girl working for tips...why does it have to be out on the golf course? I work down here at a course and they are a NIGHTMARE. Easily a guarunteed 5+ hour round. I would say 9/10 of them barely know how to swing a club let alone actually act as a CADDY. The girls get drunk and are just there to bend over and tend the flag sticks. God forbid you are in a group behind a group with the girls. Regardless of what the facility says they will hit shots, chip and putt, drive the carts all over the place regardless of cart restrictions, etc. Turns into a sh*tshow to say the least.

Had a group with 2 caddy girls with every foursome this fall (they had 5 groups i think?) By the time the first group had gotten to the 17th hole they had eclipsed the 5 hour and 30 minute mark. The girls were hitting shots and playing holes and the guys were being jerks and driving carts like idiots. Riding on the backs and sides and seating 4 people in a cart. It was ridiculous. Short of kicking them off the course there really isn't anything you can do. The groups behind them were all given 18 hole rainchecks and taken care of for the day. It was such a nightmare all because of the caddy girls and some incosiderate golfers they were with.

But hey, if you got money to blow and want a cute girl to ride on your lap for 18 holes, go for it. Just be courteous of the course and the other golfers out there trying to enjoy a round of golf.

From what I understand it is a flat rate somewhere between $100-$150 for 18 holes per "caddy"...

Wasn't this caddy girl company on an episode of shark tank and actually got a deal. I remember the cute young blonde owner saying her caddies are real and know golf and do everything a normal caddy would. I remember thinking thats BS.

I agree with the person above who said if you want to pay for the attention and affection of a young beautiful girl just go to the strip club afterward. Leave it off the golf course.

It's the same as when people feel the need to hold up play and chat up the smoking hot 21 year old cart girl and give them giant tips because they think they have a chance with them while the hole course is waiting behind them.

I dont get this either. I had to play behind a group once in Vegas that had two of them working their group - and I mean that literally, getting them to take shots every hole, setting up putting contests etc - on the course. I dont even understand how the courses allow this to happen. You make one group happy and piss off every other golfer that has to play behind them? It makes no sense to me. I love hot girls as much as the next guy but this s*** has no place on the golf course.

Take that $200+ to Secrets instead. [s]Trust me[/s] I've heard you'll get a lot more for your money there.

She was on the shark tank and got offered a deal that involved her giving up half her company for a pretty small number. She declined because she felt it was worth more.

They can say what they want about how they are legitimate caddies but they aren't fooling anyone. It's a glorified lap dance on a golf course. It looks bad and regardless of how "great" of a time is had by THAT group with caddy girls, it negatively effects the day of a large majority of the rest of the golfers 80% of the time.

Of course this is just my feelings and experience after 4 years in the golf biz in Myrtle Beach. I don't like the service but as long as it's allowed at the facility it is what it is.

I've experienced this in Vegas, not MB. I was playing in an event for work put on by a contractor, we had 3 groups, each one with one of these "caddies." She was attractive and energetic, but it ended there. It turned it into a 5 hour round. She did almost nothing that a regular caddie does; we were still raking our own bunkers, figuring out yardages, etc. She just spent most of the time talking, egging us on to hit goofy/impossible shots, getting us to make bets on making putts, standing in the wrong place at the wrong time (I had to tell her to get out of the way so I could hit probably a dozen times), etc. It was a distraction and I probably shot 10 shots worse than usual. At least she did keep the clubs clean and filled in some divots. She also managed the scorecard.

Our host paid for her "fee", but I felt that even the $25 that each of us tipped her was a ripoff.

If you're just looking to drink, goof around, and haven't been within 15 feet of an attractive woman in the last 20 years, then maybe it makes sense. Otherwise, forget it, if you're a serious golfer just spend your money on something else. Or go to a strip club after your round instead.
