I just got a new set of Vapor Pro's, would really like to do this to them, look so much better.

You need to sand off the black. Pretty easy process I did it to my old set.

Brought out my JDM Vapor 3 and Fly 5 woods today. Felt so damn good swinging these sticks. The 2 dot 3 wood is still my favorite Nike fairway.

The hat is definitely nice and well constructed!

 

Usually don't like Nike fitted hats, but this one fits my head well. Definitely going to get more colors in the future.

This thang is straight sexy. It feel sooooooo much heavier than any retail matter putter I've toyed with. AND dallas golf sent me a headcover.

I wanted to add a black shaft to it as well. But I stuck with the stock true temper shaft, only added ping man black out grip + 3 wraps.

 

I do agree the head feels heavier. I gamed it this past weekend, and it was rolling good. It's them sharpie red grooves.

Well I actually bought the black shaft for the origin b2-01-CB I am taking down to 34" prior to buying this guy...But now I'll put the matter shaft in the origin and murder out the matter.

My B1-04 is a heavy sob too. It's much more noticeable when holding both stock and tour van putters side by side.

Only got to play 2 and a half holes before rain pushed us off the course yesterday. Used the 54 toe sweep twice and stuck both within 5 feet. One cut through some heavy wet rough, the other was off the fairway and picked the ball clean. Really excited about them, the weight feels like i've got so much more control over the MD3s i had in the bag.

MM Proto-fied the back-up Vapor set and stripped some blue off the Origin for a cleaner look.

 

Ps. Sandpaper, steel wool, paint remover, nail polish and a silver marker pen is all you need for the Vapors.

So I guess feel vs actual weight ended up different. Thought it would at least be as heavy as the origin CB. Going to add a 10g tip weight to the matter to get the weight up.

I like this color in real-life pics more than I thought I would. Adding it to the list. The Mobility Stripe polos may be my favorite Nike Golf polos ever made.

All this recent Method Matter putter talk got me thinking about custom insert options instead of the poly insert. I came across these pre-cut copper inserts (and weights) on eBay. They are pretty cheap, adds 22g to the head weight, and it looks like an easy process. As cheap as the Method Matter putters are right now, I might have to do some experimenting with refinishing and replacing the insert on a B2-05 head.

I'm not loving my B2-05 I just got...it sits too far away from me for how I like to putt and if I bring it in closer to me it's not flat on the ground.

 

I want to like it, though...

yea, i just don't have a sand blaster or know of a place nearby. i'm wondering if there's a way to just strip the finish without blasting
