I realize, as Tai pointed out in the other thread in the putter forum, that the actual putter on the sale page on nike.com is the putter that is being shipped to people, but it's not the putter they show on the workbench in the link above. It's a little bit of bait and switch on Nike's part, but most people who want one don't care I would guess.

Are Rory's and Tai's putters cast with milled faces or fully milled? Why wouldn't Nike do a fully milled putter and sell it for $1k? It's proven the demand is there. I just hope people are aware that they bought a cast putter with a milled face for their money.

Value of these are skyrocketing, seller on eBay has one that is physically on hand with authentic pics for $5k.

Insane. I'm probably gonna try and grab one ASAP before price goes mega high. I think $1k is a steal at this point.

[/quote] If it said "made at The Oven" I would agree. I was one of those dreaded "pre-order" buyers up here in Canada but was glad I had enough time to investigate. Asked Nike if it was made or even just milled at the Oven, and it was only designed there. Cancelled my order and will stick with my milled face 001 ($100CAD at Golftown last year). Considering that the Method 001 milled went to production after a limited edition Oven run, I'm hoping it happens for the 006.
