best shoes i've ever had, bar none. A+ grip, stability, comfort, waterproofness. snagged for $65 on globalgolf during one of their ridiculous sales around christmas a couple years ago.

I guess I should have said the grass isn't always open, but yes, they have a grass level that is open sometimes. I've only seen it open like once in the last 5 years.

The 14s were easily the worst of the last 3 TW models for me. They were clunky, didn't fit well, and didn't wear very well.

I've really liked my Nike Bermuda Fi's so far this year. They are light, comfortable, and great for walking. Plus, they were a birthday present so I didn't have to pay anything for them!

 

Always liked the look of those, but had doubts about the crazy nubs they use. No grip issues at all?

Ecco Biom's. Easily the most comfortable walking shoe I've had.

I don't wear golf shoes. I just use my regular, every day shoes, Merrell Moab Gore-tex.

 

I actually did by a pair of golf shoes last year, Adidas Climacools, just because they were 30 bucks. They're not waterproof though, and wet conditions is the only situation where my walking shoes are not so good.

yeah it definitely is hit or miss - but i have had about 10 this year on grass

Internet Superfriends question: Is Rocky Gap worth $130 for one round? Going up there next weekend with the family on a couples retreat. Chances of making 6:50am tee, chances of making 8:10am tee time.

The two I like the most are ECCO's and the DNA's, very comfortable. Never liked NIKE shoes and owned and give away two pairs.

Dave if you play Rocky Gap bring plenty of golf balls. They have a lot of places to loss balls there for sure. Basically hit it in the FWY or it's gone.

I love my TW 15s. I've already got a grey pair and a navy pair. If anybody sees a pair in 9.5, holler at me.

If it's the one I'm thinking of (7 Corners) I am in there regularly and have never seen golf shoes. Nor have I seen them at BCF, which is on the other side of that Shopping Center.
