Gonna be super close I think. I'll take Phil today if for no other reason than I think Stenson feels the pressure of winning his first. But if Phil sprays it like he did yesterday off the tee - it could be a pretty wild day.

 

DC2 and I always place a few wagers on winners for the week and have Phil at 45-1. Hedged a bit this morning with some Stenson but would love to see Phil win again. Bring on the binder clip.

Wind's blowing off the same direction as yesterday, so no surprises for the players. A 68 from either of the final group would get it done- I like Phil and Stenson but I'd like to see Stenson win one.

Man. That was some golf.

 

So.... my round at Bull Run this morning was interesting. 6:10 tee time, fog thick as pea soup. Starter had to go out to the middle of the 1st fairway and turn on his headlights to give us something to shoot at. Wasn't until 6 that we could see a tee ball land or a see the flag on an approach. Tough to swing the club with much confidence, and my round showed it. First four drivers were pull hooks. Then played for the pull hook on 9 and hit a power fade into the lake. The it was like the switch was flipped. Hit a high, power draw on 10 and mashed high, straight bombs on 14, 15, 17 and 18, the last two measuring out more than 290 according to the Garmin. Not surprisingly, shot even par on the back, for a tidy 44-36=80. Another note: Put the new F6 Baffler in the bag today and, man, is it long, high and straight. Played it today at 19* and was getting a solid 235-245. May ratchet it down to 16* and take the 3 wood out of the bag and add a 23* hybrid.

Other than that, you will have travel up this way.

 

A lot of Balitmore---to me that is the area

 

A few us play around Andrews, upper Marlboro area, etc.

 

A lot of get together just stay tuned to the thread and you will see.
