Still on the fence if we are moving, so trying to confirm that before I spend that much money. The course seem decent when I played last week or so. However, August is the month to check if it has improved or decreased.

I think memberships are worth it in the long run. Takes about 20-30 times and they pay for themselves.

[/quote]If you made a par on every hole you didn't get a stroke, and a bogey every hole you did, you'd get 36 points. Par some of your stroke holes and you're looking good.

If anyone came in at 40+, that would be a pretty solid round.

Also, this is for [b]eagle[/b] and others. . .if people are playing different tees, familiarize yourselves with how strokes are handled so you aren't weirded out on wednesday when a 12 might be playing an 8 even.

For each tee, course handicaps get calculated based on the slope like normal. Then, an additional adjustment is made based on the course rating. In this case, an additional 3 strokes (I think).

In this case, a 10 from the silver tees might be a 12. A 10 from the gold tees might be a 16. It can make a big difference.

I tried something like that with GWChem, DaGoose and turtle. It failed miserably and the range picker stop the cart to throw me back my ball (the back of the range was what I was trying to hit over)

Don't be discouraged by citygame's foodie elitism. The McD's sausage egg and cheese mcmuffin breakfast is the hive mind approved pre round meal. Last time I ate that meal before playing was vets day at Worthington last fall... en route to a round with 5 birdies where Sully (or at least the holiday special nekot cookies he gave me) stomped out DC and DC2 with authority.

we also were blessed by the 2-for-1 extras that c.free brought us when we played BM with him and boogs, which was also a great round. i think this was when boogs got on that 6:45 am conference call before the round.
'conference call' made it into my lexicon from that day forth.

Breakfast sandwich makeup aside, what is your ideal egg sandwich vehicle?

While I enjoy an egg bagel on occasion, and buttermilk biscuits are basically crack, I can't help but reach for the English Muffin every time. It's such an all around great performer and a structurally sound when butter is involved.

i've been converted to the breakfast burrito. a big fluffy tortilla, with the proper tucked end, will yield the cleanest eating and delicious breakfast sandwich experience.

20 seconds in the microwave for the tortialla. form a trench of scrambled eggs, mixed cheeses, ham, fried onions and peppers. dash of salt, dash of pepper, dash of sour cream, dash of texas pete. roll halfway, tuck in one end, then complete the roll.

eat and enjoy.

do it right and you won't even need a napkin.

If we are talking scrambled eggs, give me a buttermilk biscuit. If we are talking eggs with runny yolks, I prefer an English muffin (with thick toast/Texas toast coming in a very close second).

Too many choices. The vehicle for the egg sandwich must match the egg sandwich itself.

For my classic sausage/egg/cheese, I'll typically say a bagel. But you can't have any of this microwaved egg nonsense. That just fluffs the egg up giganticly and ruins it. Some fried eggs or real scrambled will to the trick here. I usually won't get a bagel with a bacon/egg/cheese though, because then I feel like the bagel overpowers the bacon.

For just eggs, I love the english muffin. Toasted english muffin, split in half, one friend egg over medium on each half. Little bit of salt and pepper. One of my favorite breakfast foods.

If I'm going with something unconventional like pulled pork or shredded beef, I'll go corn tortilla with some salsa and shredded cheese. With fried eggs.

For McDonalds, the biscuit is where it's at for the bacon/egg/cheese. Though the english muffin is a solid 2nd place for the sausage mcmuffin with cheese. The bagel leaves much to be desired.

A breakfast burrito also makes its way in to my rotation. Involves some potatoes in addition to sausage and egg, plus some hot sauce.

for breakfast dessert, i like a warm cinnabon with a ridiculous amount of icing (that has the proper viscosity).

However, for the PoS, I'm going to cook some sausage patties the night before then reheat one up. Cook a fried egg with some jalapeños, and a piece of American on top. Then toast
a bagel,stack, and a squirt of ketchup/Texas Pete.

Hopefully, all before DT15 gets to the house.

Played 9 at Black Rock... let's just say I refuse to even acknowledge it after this post. Started on 10, ended on 18 shooting 61 for the back 9. 3 lost golf balls, a few 3-jacks, only 2 of 7 fairways hit, and apparently my balloon slice returned from my Driver with minor exceptions. Paid for 18 but didn't feel like trailing a twosome playing from the greens along the front 9. Hit reverse, parked the cart at the return and left. Just got too cold and was a solo.

Yeah... I need range time and lessons bad.

Any of you ever flip-flop on your grip?

I grew up playing an interlock grip, and for some reason a few years ago I switched to overlap. I can actually remember exactly when it was. Late 2012 when I was in Hawaii, I was on the range and just switched. I think I just couldn't get my hands in the proper spot while feeling comfortable. Anyway, the other day I found myself very comfortable with an interlock grip on my putter (instead of reverse overlap), and now I'm questioning the change. I might try out the interlock at PoS and see how it goes.
