Coolest Famous Person You Have Played With

That's cool and I hope you play well, don't think, just swing! I've been fortunate to play with a few. Tommy Toles, Brian Claar, Peter Jacobson, Greg Craft and a few others on the pgs tour. Played golf with Matt Suhey, NFL Chicago Bears FB, Robin Zander of Cheap Trick as well. Always fun to play with celebs.

Got paired up with Trevor Hoffman and his two sons at Torrey Pines one afternoon. He got announced as an alias but when this 6"3 or taller dude walked up he looked familiar. Really nice guy, great golfer and not happy at all when you beat him.

Great feeling to beat a hall of fame athlete, even though it was just nine holes.

I went to school with Trevor ( and got in some trouble with him). He really is a great guy. Fame did not go to his head.

[*]When I was 12 years old, I played regularly with George Zaharias aka The Greek Hyena, a famous pro wrestler from the 30's. He was also the husband of Babe Didrikson, the great golfer and athlete, who had passed away in 1956.

Ray Floyd - couple of holes in a charity outing
Marlene Floyd - LPGA and Ray Floyd's sister. Great sense of humor and great game
Kathy Whitworth - more great stories about the LPGA early years
Sam Saunders - Arnold Palmer's grandson - our team won Pro-Am in Houston with him on our team
Radney Foster - probably not real famous outside of Texas but is a country music singer/songwriter of note in Texas

Yea, Moe was a Friend of Pete's and Sam and I got to play with him up in Canada-

Apparently they were one of the few Tour guys who treated him decently when he came down and tried the Tour

He was a Gem, and a machine, lol

A true National Treasure!!
