I wish he kept using the Superfast TP though, I loved seeing my old beauty in play on tour. Now there's only 2 guys playing it now I think.

RM is a member on this site even though he does not post very much, if at all. He posted a lot on here when he was with Scratch initially.

i don't think trying to have the prettiest irons is anywhere close to what the marketing strategy of pxg is. love or hate the looks, they advertise the tech. whether its for real or not, thats debatable, but making a iron that everyone thought was pretty wasn't the goal.

Just to be clear, I'm all for functionality but it should come in a decent looking package. I really like Ping clubs and appreciate their desire to produce good, forgiving clubs, but in an elegant package - typically at a fair price too. Pings aren't for everyone either. These PXG clubs just don't do it for me and I cannot believe the cost either and don't see many people buying them. Just my opinion I guess.[/quote]


I have tested them and will be buying them soon. Coming off Tour RAZR MBs. The fitter built 14 sets in one day and they continue to sell a ton. So, I believe they will be around for awhile. The looks may be different or horrible to some but the feel and performance are some of the best I have ever tried.

I'm a little surprised that Ryan hasn't gone to DG AMT's yet; maybe he just got his PXG's built before the AMT's were available to him. Reason I say that is that he was always a DG Lite X100 player, and it would seem to be a natural for him to transition to AMT's. We'll see, come January.

I might not immediately like the PXG appearances, but I respect the design. They look like nice clubs to hit. So the question is, where can anybody try them?!?

That's the issue, there is only a few selected fitters that you can try these at currently.
