No tour van. The PXG Tour rep works out of one of the independent repair vans.

Different just to be different should be Ryan Moore's logo. These are the ugliest clubs I've ever seen and I just don't get the appeal. And I just cannot believe anyone would spend that much money on these clubs either. Can't see PXG lasting too long in my opinion.

i don't think trying to have the prettiest irons is anywhere close to what the marketing strategy of pxg is. love or hate the looks, they advertise the tech. whether its for real or not, thats debatable, but making a iron that everyone thought was pretty wasn't the goal.

The PXGs are growing on me. Look like precision tools.

The most interesting thing in the bag to me was looking closely at the weight screw combinations and placement in his woods and irons.

Both drivers are a little bit different from one another. The 3 wood and 5 wood are set up completely differently, when compared to each other, and the hybrid has it's own pattern.

It's clear that there was a good amount of thought (and I assume testing) that went into these combinations and patterns. It seems like this is the most precise way for a user to move weight around in a club head that we have seen. That wouldn't mean much to me, but to the best in the world (with amazingly consistent and repeatable swings), this fine tuning might prove to be a benefit to them.

Just to be clear, I'm all for functionality but it should come in a decent looking package. I really like Ping clubs and appreciate their desire to produce good, forgiving clubs, but in an elegant package - typically at a fair price too. Pings aren't for everyone either. These PXG clubs just don't do it for me and I cannot believe the cost either and don't see many people buying them. Just my opinion I guess.
