Good news is that they're out now, which was the huge holdup. Now that they have them out, they should start flowing!

Just got an update on my 716 CB, TMB combo set with stock AMT shafts. ANOTHER DELAY. [i]Possibly [/i]to be shipped late November. No guarantees from Titleist other than backordered indefinitely. Awaiting 2 heads from the CB part of the set. No firm resolution date. I [i]may[/i] have them around the first of December but no guarantees.

Bravo Titleist.

Some CB's shipped and some TMB's shipped as well.

Some of the 816H lofts seem to be back ordered until Novebmer 13th. But other orders have shipped well before estimated time as well. So we shall see.

Just got my left handed t-mb 3-pw. Ordered from DD first week of October and ordered pretty much stock. Friend ordered rh t-mb 3-pw set at same time and his will ship first week of November due to waiting on 3 & 4 heads.

I'm not going to go on a tirade about the situation. It is what it is, although I'd like to have my irons.

I will say that it's interesting that Titleist (as they do) reveals the final product on tour and we get to see it, as well as the specs, many months in advance. This typically occurs mid-late summer. The products are always available at retail around the beginning of November.

So it's been significant amount of time since the AP2/CB/TMB have been engineered, on tour, and in production. (and to an even larger extent the TMB because these have been available in Asia quite a bit longer). Now the release time rolls around and Titleist is unable to fulfill very early (September 18th and 26th) pre-orders before most likely, December.

I outline this to contrast it against the Callaway Apex and Apex Pro iron (a quality product) which were revealed publicly a mere 30 days ago and can be had tomorrow. And most of the folks with pre-orders have already received their shipments.

Is Titleist's supply chain dragging behind that significantly? Because Callaway sells a TON of apex iron sets. Tons.

As of today Titleist says that they have no idea on when my irons will ship. No estimation, none. This is direct from Titleist.

You're probably right. But there are some great irons sets catching my eye right now and it wouldn't take much to cancel the $1300 order.

As my sig says the PING e1 irons are pinch hitting and they are reliable as heck with Dynamic gold shafts - I've been hitting GIR pretty consistently. And the new Apex Pro are nice too.

Hey, I'm the last person in the world to be advising anyone to just 'hang on in there'. I placed 2 orders with them, first they couldn't and didn't add the missing Demo clubs to my Pros' demo kit when they said they would. So that put me off, so I cancelled the first order. Then I got enticed again, and placed another order and they sent through my order in RH when I'm a lefty, so another ba*** up from them was the final straw, and my Pro sent it back with a note attached saying 'we give up!' Lol. Titleist and me have always had a very much 'Love/hate' thing going on, but I think the relationship has finally broken down for good this time. (Until the new 917 range is realized I expect!!)

Guys, before you crucify Titleist, remember Hurricane Patricia last week and how it was the biggest hurricane of all time?

The heads travel from Asia to California by ship, the same route that Patricia took.
