Does anyone know the 716 Pre-Order Ship Date?

Ok, I'm always happy to hold my hands up in these circumstances. Today, I got to speak to the chap in charge of Custom Clubs in the UK, you know....a real human being, not somebody from Marketing or customer services, who just gives us the 'party line', just a down to earth worker, and he was excellent. He explained the situation that Demo heads of CB's/MB's and T-MB's were in very short supply, but any Fitter that they couldn't send out these Demo heads to, would receive theirs this week. So that's good news. As for shipping of pre-orders, he said that there was no shortage of 'normal' heads (only the Demo heads) for the CB/MB's and T-MB's and that indeed, they are starting to make up sets today and all this week, so some customers would almost certainly get their Clubs earlier than the 23rd Oct release date, so as to relieve their custom order pressure.

That's good news, and if that comes to fruition, well done Titleist. Of course that's just for the UK, but I can't think why North America would be any different.

Have you asked the account holder that you have ordered with to contact Titleist to ask them for a delivery date? Only, I asked my Pro to ask Titleist when my T-MB 4 iron will arrive, as I really wanted it for a trip up to Scotland that we're undertaking on the 24th, and he got back to me and told me that they were quite specific with him, and told him that it will be shipped on the 21st for delivery on 22/23rd Oct. Pretty good feedback from Titleist to my Pro, so why don't you ask the person that you ordered it through to contact Titleist to try and get a shipping date specifically?

Considering you only ordered them last Fri. Nov !st sounds about right, with so many pre orders that they probably have to deal with.

Fingers crossed that they really keep on top of things and your set arrives a day or so early for you. At least once you could get a quick 9 holes in after work.

Friend who ordered CBs was told they're still looking at December for the ship date on those, so he switched over to AP2s as they have an earlier ship date estimate. This is from someone who previously received clubs shortly after tour seeding.

Really? That's still pretty bad. In the UK I spoke to one of the Managers' of Custom Clubs down in the factory at Titleist and he informed me that there are no shortage of heads in any model.

Just fresh off the phone from Titleist...4th time I have spoke with them since I placed my order...ordered a mix set, T-MB's/AP2's/CB's/MB's...ordered from one of the larger Titleist accounts on the West coast...placed the entire order September 18th...was told today, at best, another 2-4 weeks...solid work Titleist...over promise & under deliver...

Generally they release stuff mid to late November and at the beginning of 2015 the reps were saying the same for timeline. Looks like someone didn't get the memo that they were bumping it up. Not a big deal here in Canada as the snow is going to fly soon but still too bad for some people who still have golf all year round. On a better note it seems like everything stock is ready to go it's just custom orders that are a little behind.

My 716 Titleist irons arrived today. I ordered AP2 5-PW, T-MB 4 iron, and SM5 wedges, all with KBS Tour stiff shafts. Obviously nothing exotic so for anyone who ordered something similar, hopefully yours will arrive soon. I understand from Titleist that there is a delay with certain other custom shaft options, like the AMT Tour. Anyways, hope everyone else who ordered new Titleist wrenches gets theirs soon.
