Personally I wouldn't want putting together IKEA furniture and adjusting a driver to share any similarities, and it seems to me that having to undo all those weights, take them out, and move them around, is a step backwards from the track system. But maybe I'm missing something aside from the draw weight.

If I remember correctly, there were a lot of warranty issues with the carbon track as well as the screw stripping.
