Tour AD shaft lengths ( to know if shaft has been tipped)

Can anyone give me a measurement, in inches of the distance from tip to the first shaft band on a new shaft?

The measurements are different depending on if it's black or orange. If you search here is a large thread that graphic design posted the measurements for their shafts.

I'm not asking you anything, that is a link which contains a lot of shaft measurements including GD and others.

My AD XC 8X in my 7 wood is 23 5/8” tip to first ring with my Titleist fairway adapter. Does anyone know how much this is tipped. I assume it’s around 1” since on the graphite design website it says standard 7 wood tipping is 1”. I ordered this shaft directly through Titleist.

Rehashing this old topic…does anyone know the measurements for an AD XC 8S to determine the amount tipped? Such as the length to the beginning of the “Accuracy and Distance” label or another point on the shaft?

Is it still 24.75" ?

Cause all my ad shafts is 25.25" from end of adapter to first ring. 

If you substract .25" for the adapter, it's still 25"

Yes. And not all adapters are .25" its an average. It's impossible for the shaft to measure longer than 24.7" from tip to the ring, so if you're getting 25" it's untipped and just the adapter has some additional spacing.
