They look good but it's weird seeing a Mizuno MP blade that isn't chrome. The finish is fine and all, just not what I'm used to. I'm glad Mizuno is starting to re-establish a tour presence again.

those are sweet. I wonder if they will be offered via Yoro Craft. Wife is getting me a set of Yoro craft irons for my retirement gift.

From what I heard from my fitter and the rumors in another thread they may only be offered in Yoro craft

Another ex-Nike guy with Mizuno irons. Tiger was rumored to be switching to Mizuno irons I thought. When will Rory be jumping ship from his Callaway irons to Mizuno?

I'm sure Rory tried Mizuno irons and they must not have had a model he liked. Never known Mizuno to create a set specifically for a player like Callaway did with the MBs that were not on the radar for years if ever. Don't think I have ever seen a raw finish on any Mizuno irons even in Japan where they have 10 finishes available. Closest would be one of those 2 swings and the black is gone finish.. Or maybe he will switch irons to match the tournament like he did the fairways to hook the ball more at Augusta.

I don't know... these look very much like Nike Pro blades Tiger and Rory gamed--in fact they look more like those Nike blades than anything Mizuno has made before--the straight line cut of the muscle can't remember Mizzy doing that before. If they were going to make a set to tempt Tiger and Rory hard to imagine how it would have been different than the MP-18? Mizuno imitating their own imitators? It's like looking in a hall of mirrors... except uh, if the mirror were satin, not chrome and thus not all that shiny. Well, you know what I mean.

I hope none of you spent the cash on those irons. Vegas just swapped to the MP 4 and won the Canadian Open with them first time in a tournament. The 4's and 69's are the real deal. The 5's are, well c'mon and the 900 Tour is NOT an MP. These Mp 18 blades look like a 714 MB.

The 4s and 69s are probably the best irons I've ever played.
