Rangefinders: Which eye?

I've noticed a lot of right handers using their left eye when looking through rangefinders. This seems odd to me. Are there a ton of left eye dominant guys out there or am I missing something?

I play righty, but have left eye dominance. Shoot a gun left....basketball left..bat right ..all racket sports right...throwing sports left..baitcaster left...spinning rod right....I'm all screwed up!!

Either an eye dominance thing or a comfort thing. Nothing unusual

I'm right handed and left eye dominant. Because of that I hold the rangefinder up to my left eye. I also shoot shotguns and rifles left handed because I hold them up to my left eye. I shoot a pistol with my right hand and aim with my left eye. I've never been able to shoot with both eyes open because I see double when that happens.

This is my situation as well, almost to a tee!

It would be unlikely that you are more comfortable using the device with anything but your dominant eye.

Same here, right handed, left eye dominant, use range finder left eye, used to qualify with my weapon in the Army left handed...

I am right handed but have a lazy right eye so I have to use my left eye.
