Can't seem to get onto Ping's site today........goes to select an region........and nowhere from there

That's what I got as well. I'll reserve judgement until we see what the full web-based version has to offer.

 

That said, the lack of the nFlight fitting app and reference material regarding out-of-production clubs is disappointing. Perhaps they're trying to circumvent the self-fitting process, forcing you to book with a dealer as well as discouraging the purchase of suitable used clubs from their previous iterations. In many ways, much of what Ping has been famous for was sort of counter productive to a pure retail operation. We can only hope that they don't follow the lead of other OEM's.

Last time I checked it's still run by a Solheim. But I'm afraid he's beginning to go against his company's family values of why they were successful in the first place. I hope I'm wrong.

The new website is very poor comparing it to the previous one, ex.no custom listing for shafts, grips, grinds.

 

It looks like Ping is doing it on the cheap! Not something they have ever done before.

Wow, overreacting much? I called them, they are upgrading the desktop version. Give it a few days.

It's up now, but no golf bag section. I'm planning to order a bag soon and I'm thinking Hoofer so I wanted to read about it again.

No more indoor fittings at the factory location in Phoenix, but still doing repairs and adjustments at the factory location. Heading up there tomorrow for a club lie check on some used Pings that I just purchased. Had an outdoor fitting at the Kierland Golf Club in Scottsdale last week. If you want the factory to fit you in the Phoenix area, make an appointment and head to Scottsdale or Suprise, AZ.

I did a fitting at Kierland back in May. It was great. Open range with Titleist NXT range balls and they have two Trackman setups as well. Full inventory of everything to try (if you give it a few weeks I'm sure they'll have the G400 there to try out too! :rockon: ). I ended up going with i200 4 & 5 irons and iBlades 6-PW. They book appoints exactly 2 weeks out so just plan accordingly because they book up fast.

 

Back on topic too... I'm sure the new website will launch concurrently with the G400 line release... this mobile site they've been stringing along is terrible though.
