The rat has smoother rounder edges and seems to sit lower behind the ball IMO. I had a super rat that I ended up selling cuz i never wanted to game it. IMO it's not worth the money. I putt just as well with Newport that is fit to me.

He only goes up to 54* with his wedges. I would think a 58* was out of the bag and the hybrid and TMB 2i alternate based on conditions.

Both putters are sick. But I like the Rat model better. I normally like the more squared off versions as I prefer my Odyssey #2 over the #1 model.

But I prefer the flange alignment line over the top line. And the all black port holes.

He was in Auburn for the UGA game rocking Auburn gear and practiced with the AU team on Sunday. What a cool guy. Would love to see him succeed on the PGA tour. And those putters are so sick.

I guess I see a little love child between the Ping Pal and the Ping Anser when I look at it. I have not seen it sitting next to a Newport 2 to be able to tell the differences for sure. You're probably right in that it is no different. Maybe it's just a Newport with a rat stamp! But something catches my eye about it before I ever see the pics of the sole.

The neck on all the rats are not a standard plumber's neck, they have the "fluting" or whatever you call it
