Hogan Bounce Sole 1+ paint fill done

Recommended Posts

I was tired of the ugly green paint fill on my stud bounce soles so I just finished repainting them. Hogan script now gloss black. Bounce sole lettering and hogan sunburst gold flake and the 1+ fire red. Hard to tell with the light at night but let me know what you think

That is sorta a joke over on The Clubhouse Grille of the 19th Hole section. My good friend Peanuts Daddy from Canada sent me that head never shafted never hit a few years ago. Clubs that have a real meaning for me get a nickname. I shafted that thing up with a brand new S-300 never tipped and it is a rocket kinda like straight off the trailer. In honor of my friend giving it to me I named it a Canadian Special--- Trust me you are not the first one that asked that question. BTW PD has the rest of the set shafted and all and he plays them some and yes he is both a classic club ho and modern club ho too like we are

Living in this area I meet quite a few Canadians this time of the year that spend the winter here. I have never met a Canadian WRXer in person though. Back in my over the road trucking /owner operator days I did a lot of trucking into and out of Canada. I had a contract with Ontario Hydro and the Canadian Transportation Ministry-- Used to haul big electrical transformers in and auction bound heavy equipment out

STU - Don't you ever sleep???

Oh yeah early to bed early to rise-- Usually this time of the year I am in bed by 6:00 and up by 3:00. I have been on a CPAT machine for 11 years now and sleep like a baby. I get more rest in 7 hours than most get in 10. Now today being like it is I will nap. When I wake up in the morning I am up WFO!!!

I know off topic--- But since we are talking drinking coffee I can tell you one--- I usually drink about 5 cups a day--- but do not drink anything else with caffeine after 10:00 in the morning no sodas just water even at home for supper. Now I have quite a collection of those cheap plastic Speedway fuel stop cups I think 5 in all. But sometimes being WFO in the morning I will leave one around the fuel island at the yard or on the step of the truck. Someone will always pick them up and either throw them in the back of my pick up truck or set them on the fuel island. Now Thanksgiving weekend we had 4 days off so I thought I would be both proactive and productive ( shocking ain't it?) Gathered all my 5 cups up to wash out properly. Strung all of them with a bungee cord on my road bag / lunch bag. Walked into the house and my wife remarked to the dog "look baby here comes MR F#*&*@g Coffee" we both cracked up.

Well good morning all. I’ve been up piddling since 3 myself, drinking coffee and watching the Weather Channel. For those that wonder why we are so obsessed with the weather, it’s highly unusual for us to have these temperatures and weather conditions. We have had some serious cold rain and if the temperature dipped down a fraction more would be getting the white stuff here as well.

Was so bad yesterday, I had a lesson scheduled with a local pro, and he cancelled because they were shutting the course and range down. Now it wasn’t raining hard, just more than a spit, but, with the cold...

I know we shouldn’t complain, and I’m not, but man HOW DO YOU GUYS survive up north during the winter???

Randy,

Seriously? Us midwesterners have to deal with temps anywhere from over 100°F to -25° F...We have thick blood in the winter and thin blood in the summer. We adapt...plus WE ARE STUPID!!!

Randy you did not tell them the other part about how everything goes to crap here when 2 flakes of snow fall. Do not let the WC mention a 10% chance of light flurries and there would not be a loaf of bread or a jug of milk to be found on this beach in any store. My wife works for a grocery store and she said yesterday folks were stocking up because they heard there would be snow in NC yeah the Piedmont area and extreme North East portion of the state some 150 miles away. Even though I was born and raised in the South I laugh and talk smack because I have driven trucks everywhere up North including Canada so I at least feel qualified

Looks familiar to me!!! Less than 60 days till pitchers and catchers report!!
