OptiFit 2 or Optiforce adapter for Big Bertha Fusion driver?

They both look like they fit according to the product descriptions.. is that right? I need to grab one for a HZRDUS Black that I ordered.

 

Should I have a preference? Which one came with my original stock shaft?

What source are you using and specfically which "product description" are you referring to?

 

I've noticed there is not a lot of consistency by different sources on how they reference the different versions of the callaway adapters (including Callaway themselves). So if they really are both compatible, the might be the exact same thing.

 

The only difference that occurred in the Callaway 2nd gen adapters is the tip design changed from the original variant having a plastic snap-on/off tip to help keep the rings on. That would break on occasion so callaway removed it and redesigned the very tip to keep the rings on w/o it. Those two versions are completely compatible and function identically so doesn't matter which one you get.

Looks like the same as your first one. Good to know they both fit. A lot of these things are listed as "Epic/Rogue adapter".. but near as I can figure that's the same thing as OptiFit 2?

Every Callaway driver head since the Optiforce uses the same dual cog adapter, it’s over 25 heads now I believe that fit that same adapter.

Yes. Which means it's easier to list the Callaway adjustable heads that can't use the newer design: Razr-Fit, Razr-Fit Extreme, original Opti-Fit, and original X-hot (includes the Tour Authentic versions).
