Fitting - Minneapolis

I am going to Minneapolis in October and would like to get a fitting. I will not have my golf bag with me on the trip, but would like both Driver, Iron and putter fitting.

Is there someone that can be recommended ?. I can see clubchampion is there, but don´t know if there is are other options with more "hardcore" fitting

Get a fitting with Aaron Roth at 2nd Swing in Minnetonka he is top notch.

How in depth do they get at 2nd swing? I've never had a true fitting and would love to make the drive down there. Looking to get a full bag fitting that gives me an idea on best static & swing weight for each club as well as loft, like throughout the bag to have each club individually fit.

 

I don't want to go hit 6 irons off of a lie board and make a blanket spec assumption based on one club. Not necessarily looking to buy new clubs as much as I'm looking at getting my current set optimized.

Not bad. On the mobile site, it looks like for $175, I can go through my entire set of irons get numbers, they'll adjust the lie as needed, and get swing info. I wonder if that is intended for new clubs or if they cal go through my current set as well as new options.

 

I would guess you've had good experiences with them in the past?

I loved totally driven. had them make me a set years ago and I'm waiting for a work injury (knee) to subside in the coming weeks and I'm going back for a full bag fitting. It's been awhile since I have been in but the staff was awesome and I enjoyed the whole experience. they have a discount right now for full bag fitting too.

2nd this. I went to Aaron last October and his fitting was spectacular. He's a really nice guy that listens and doesn't push you to one brand or another, just fits you for what works. Since my fitting, I'm hitting the ball further and with more consistency. Take the time and do the tour van fitting.

2nd swing looks interesting. Their tour wan fitting is that a "real fitting" or just a "standard fitting"

Just to explain my vision about those 2

 

Standard Fitting: Like going into a shop and if I want to buy a driver,I try some shafts and hit some balls and after 20 minutes it is finished and picking the driver that you one time hit 270 yards, while the other 20 shots that was mishit is ignored

 

Real fitting: Testing different shafts length and shafts and general work on impact location to be optimal/centered with head/shaft weight variations

Totally driven is great. I did a full bag fitting there last December. So far I've been really happy with everything they recommended. I would definitely recommend them.

But what kind of fitting is 2nd swing. Just standard fitting like go in and hit some shafts and heads and look what performs best or a real fitting where looking on impact spot, total weight of club etc
