Cobra Forged Tec Black Vs Rogue Pro

Looking at these two irons as I’m going back to graphite soon (elbow, wrist)

Anyone played both? Impressions?

The seem like they would be similar.

I’ve only been able to hit them inside off mats.

Slightly favoring the ? Cobras.

Liked the Rogue pro much more than the Cobra's. More forgiving, go a mile.

As much of a Cobra guy as I am, I would go with the Rogue Pro because of the offset. The Forged Tech has too much for my eye. King Pros are fine though.

 

As for you....... go with the ones you hit best.

I personally LOVE the Forged Tec Black. Don’t like the looks of the Rogue personally. For me the Cobras are super straight, very forgiving and very soft when flushed.

Hit both and ended up with Forged Tec Black. For me, the cobras felt better, went around same distance, and look way better. Very accurate irons as well. The finish on the cobras is frickin bulletproof!

You really can't go wrong with either. I like the look of Cobras more but, that's all it came down to for me.

Guys with the Rogue Pros: are you having any trouble holding greens?

I was on a monitor and was only getting 5400 rpm with a 7 iron, no matter what shaft.

Tried PX LZ 105, Recoil 780ES and Modus 105 Reg.

I was getting consistent 63-6500 with the Cobras with both Modus 105 stiff and Recoil 780ES stiff

I played some 2014 Apex that I would get some jumpers with due to the lower spin and don’t want to see those again!
