Orlando course conditions late September.

Like the title states. What condition are Orlando courses in late September?

Normally, it's would be great. This year many are very wet/soggy due to the rainy summer. Check on golf advisor for the latest, albeit sometimes schizoid, reviews of individual courses.

the courses are usually healing up and getting cleaned up. First week of october would be ideal and enters the beginning of peak season.

My club is pretty soggy in typical areas that get wet. But the course overall isn't too bad.

 

I would check courses to see if they aerified. Generally golf courses in this area aerify once around Memorial day, then again in July and then again on Labor Day. My course uses a large aeration punch in September and that means the sand lasts longer and we are still clearly coming off aeration despite aerifying back on 9/4.
