Callaway MD4 Hosel Question

I just received my 50deg MD4 raw and noticed something that seemed a little odd. This is my first Callaway wedge so I am unfamiliar with any color codes they might have or if they have any at all similar to Ping or Mizuno. On the hosel, the “R Milled” writing has yellow paintfill as well as a few of the vertical lines that wrap around the entire hosel (near the shaft). At first, I thought it must have rusted already but it is definitely yellow paintfill as the rest of the other vertical lines have none. Does anyone know if this is just stock for the raw MD4 or does it have some other significance (such as heavier head, etc)? Thanks

THink it signifies the lie angle

Signifies 3° flat lie angle.

Thanks for the responses. So if I ordered it one degree flat would they have taken a 3 degree flat head and bent it upright 2 degrees? Is their any significance to the number of lines that have paintfill? Looks like maybe 1.5 lines are filled in and was thinking maybe if it is a 3 degree flat head they just removed the paintfill from the third line and most of the second line to say it is only one degree flat.

They may have measured the one you received and it was actually only 1 degree flat and stocked it that way. Or it’s actually gold paintfill - looks gold to me.
