Scotland travel packages

Any recommendations for a middle class couple to arrange travel and golf 3 out of 10 days in Scotland?

Budget around 5K or so

Are you looking for a company that will plan out a 10 day trip with some golf thrown in? Budget $5k total or excluding airfare? Looking to see sights spread out all over the country or focus on an area in particular? Hard to narrow down for sure with so many things to see and do.

Just doesn't seem to be clear in the post and maybe a little more info will help someone with some experience with those services.

Have now planned a second trip, this time just for me and my wife, and it really isn't that tough to do, but package deals work better for many for all sorts of good reasons (but are usually a lot more expensive, IMO). Just a matter of preference.

I'd love to play SA olde Course, North Berwick and Carnoustie and then see the country as much as possible.

5k is after airfare, I think.

I always recommend Morton Golf Holidays. I've used them 5 times for trips of various lengths and expense. In addition to golf, they can plan all sorts of other itineraries, such as distillery tours, castle tours, and tours around cities like Edinburgh - look at their "Flavor & Taste" section on their website. Very easy to work with.

Don’t know when this may happen, but if next year or after, put in for The Old Course lottery late summer and see what happens. With St. Andrews as a base and if you are driving yourselves you can easily plan a trip if you want to yourself and avoid a lot of extra expense. And nothing wrong with getting a company involved if that is your preference. I’ll let the folks with that preference take over!
