Obviously, but they also aren't obligated to do something with no implied obligation.

Is this a really low launch shaft compared to other low/low shafts? I have played the even flow black which some label as a low/low but found that to actually b a fairly high launch shaft for me. How would the df compare to that? Trying to decide between the bf & df. Any input would b greatly appreciated

When you sign up for one of these giveaways, they ask you if you are willing to provide a review with photos etc. If I were the mods, if someone were selected to review a product and they didn't, I would put them on a list that would make them disqualified from any future giveaways.

Is this the fourth gen whiteboard? I have/use gens 2, 2.5, and 3 - the only shafts I presently l use for woods.

There was no request for a review of the shaft. MCA made a request of the winners to post something on social media for them and I know I complied with that. Prior to dragging people through the mud, you might want to make sure you have your facts straight.

 

For those that actually care, I find the DF to be an outstanding shaft in all areas. I came from playing an Aldila Rogue 125, 60 X and received the DF in 60 X. I thought I would play the Rogue shaft forever or until it broke. I did not expect the DF to kick it out of the bag. It has improved every facet of the club. I have tighter dispersion, virtually no left tendency, the launch angle came down and spin rate came down compared to the Rogue I was using. It has been in my driver exclusively since it arrived.

@mah2010 - The DF has a slightly softer profile vs. previous Whiteboard profiles. We classify this shaft as Mid/Low launch and Low Spin. It sounds like you would benefit from DF over BF!

 

@pdaero - Going to be slightly softer than D+. DF utilizes MR70 as well as Boron which was not in D+.

 

@johngalt312 - This is the Fourth Generation Whiteboard profile!

This is on the higher side of the premium shafts, would love to try one but not sure if I want to chance it with it costing so much. Would love to read more reviews but there aren’t many on this shaft

This has been my gamer for about 12 months. I'm usually around 112-113 and play the 60 TX (not tipped). Had the DF in 3 or 4 different heads and it performs everytime. I've tested several new shafts (Smoke Green, TZ6, AD IZ, AD VR) and have come back to the DF everytime. For me, its mid launch and mid/low spin. Where is shines for me is feel and timing. I always feel "in sync" with the shaft and never have big misses. Only other shaft on my radar now to try against the DF would be the ZF.

No. That's not true, at all. They only ask for reviews when it's a product testing. This was specifically a contest. There was no obligation of a review. Again, except for golfware's promised review. Still waiting on that one.

If anyone has one in TX with a Ping G400/G/G30 tip and wants to let me borrow it to put it up against the preceding generations on GC2+HMT, I would be happy to do so. Then you could have a solid review with data. Or I might just soon buy one (although the D+PLUS Limited Edition has also been calling my name).

Dunno how much their review/thoughts should ever impact buying a shaft unseen though. And the passive aggressive demand for reviews coming out of the blue is lame. Kudos to Mitsubishi stepping in and answering in detail. Hopefully that should satisfy
