A question for all. I am about to join the pushcart mafia and am surprised that it seems weight really isn’t a primary factor for most of you. My course is fairly hilly, don’t those heavier bags and/or all the extras mean more work when it comes time to hump a hill???

I just assumed I would use my current stand bag on the cart but am now considering pulling my 20ish year old Ping cart bag out of storage as it still looks great.

A few pounds spread over three or four wheels doesn't make a big difference. Yes, it's a small factor, but given that I view walking as a form of exercise, the added weight simply adds to the workout. I like the larger cart bag because I can more easily carry the "essentials", e.g. a full set of raingear.

I think there is a bit of balance. Like Argonne said, a bit of weight to have the rain gear, umbrella, pullover and a few things aren't a big deal. The convenience of having that gear and a 14 way bag and everything organized are worth it. I think having a cooler and some of that stuff would get too heavy and be detrimental. I usually just carry one bottle or cup of ice water and refill periodically.

Yeah, I was just surprised how many full size / staff bags people are using but I guess if your course is pretty flat a few extra pounds doesn't matter much. I haven't had a chance to unpack mine yet (its a gift I am due to receive soon) but I look forward to playing around with some different combinations to see what works best.

Here's my setup when I don't carry. Like others have said a couple pounds isn't a big deal. For me when it rains (like it does a lot in the PNW) having the umbrella holder keeps things dry. I use a 14 way Sun Mountain and all 14 clubs. When I walk I use 9-10 depending on course. I like to walk regardless.

Just got the same Rovic. Love it. But I really need to add the same Accessory Pocket. How did you attach it? Is it all velcro attachments? Looks like it requires screws. But I can't find instructions for the item anywhere.

I removed the screws from the plastic handle piece (4 points) and installed the pocket up against the under side of the handle then re-installed the screws. The only tricky part is the location where the front wheel swivel lever attaches. It's not hard. Just pay attention to how it goes back together.

Sorry I just saw this...did you get it mounted? Really it's pretty straightforward except for the bottom. When you take the screws our to remove the lower arms the center bar that it tells you to mark will come out and it's kind of a pain to get back in and lined up. I found if you release the locking lever on the side and let the cart partially collapse it's a bit easier.
