Rory new driver shaft

came here wondering how the ventus TR felt to the normal blue and have no idea how it relates to any of the shafts mentioned before

Ventus TR Blue feels and plays much tighter than OG ventus blue. I say “tighter” because saying it is more stiff doesn’t do the TR justice, it def is more stout overall but has amazing feel to it. The og ventus blue had a significant kick to it as well as a softer butt section, which i never liked. Not sure if you’ve hit og ventus Black but easiest way to summarize it, is to imagine Ventus Blue and Ventus Black had a baby, and that baby was blessed with the best genetic combo from both parents. Lol…But there is much less kick with TR Blue, stiffer butt section, a more gradual taper from butt-tip section. OG Ventus Blue had that accelerated taper rate down to shaft then a spike in stiffness at tip section. That’s a thorough as i can be, haha.

Ok, so follow up. I love the ventus blue butt through mid, but have also tried black and haven't had much success mainly because i think the butt is too stiff........do you think i shoudl ease towards the red TR or the blue TR? mostly just curious on feel

TR Red has a very stiff butt section, so probably not if you like how the OG Ventus Blue feels in the top half of the shaft. 
What type of change are you looking for that your not liking with Ventus Blue?

So not looking for a change at all just trying to understand what I like. Right now I have the VB in the driving iron which i LOVE and then I have a mitsubishi CK pro blue in a hybrid and in my driver....which I also love. Unfortunately I just cant find the same shaft for my 3 wood for now so im looking for something that feels the same but isnt quite as pricey as the ventus blue

Mitsubishi CK Pro Blue has a stiffer butt section, a bit softer mid section, and a firmer tip section (not crazy stiff tip). I could be wrong but, i think the Ventus Blue driving iron shaft is a bit different feeling compared to Ventus Blue driver/wood shaft. You might like the Ventus Red (Regular not TR).
