Just purchased the mp20 mmcs and love them, granted it’s indoor golf season but they have performed great. I played the 718 and 716 ap2s and got along great with them. The thing I always like about the ap2s was the blend of looks and forgiveness and it seems like with the T100’s they have moved closer to blades. I decided to go with the mmcs for the extra forgiveness in the long irons. They feel great and go slightly further due to the loft difference. Good luck with your search.

I started gaming T100 as of three weeks ago and they are really forgiving. I was shopping for an MP20 MMC setup but these landed on my lap at a great deal. I enjoy them so much, I decided to sell my MP18 MMC set that I was in love with. They don't feel as buttery but it's a tad longer from heel to toe, thinner top-line and similar ball flight. Only negative is the sound, a bit clicky.

Can't speak to Ben Hogan irons, but in my fit at CC in DC last fall it ended up down to T100 vs. TM 760 vs. 20 MMC. I think all of them are similarly forgiving "players" irons with tech. I am a 5 and carry my seven around 165. After deciding on PX LZ 6.0 (vs. Nippon 130 soft stepped X), I then dropped 20 MMC. I played MP 53s for a long time, and love Mizuno, but just tired of the high rounded toe and frankly just didn't have the right package of sound, looks and spin I was looking for. TM760 was a close second and recommend anyone look at them as they don't get the love they deserve. What I never liked about the AP2 was the offset and feel, but T100 fixed that, and NOW, it seems you can power spec them with the T100-S.

Quickly back to the 20 MMC. Amazing company, great iron, but weird Mizuno did not have a non-titanium insert players cavity this year. Also, the HMB is really the gem of the new offerings and a great option to combo. Did not go any longer for me. Just didn't tick the boxes for me. CANNOT OVERSTATE that Mizuno does a great job with no-cost shafts, grips etc, and always come in cheaper than Titleist in general.

So, T100 was the winner- same distance with more spin which suits my game, look and feel killer. Blend well with SM7 wedges. Would have chosen TM760 if spin was a bit better as they also feel killer but maybe not as good looking in the bag (personal pref). It is possible the TM760 5 iron is better than T100 based on construction, but tough to predict. Got P-5. For four iron, tried the T200 and u500 iron but went with the TM p790 bent strong to gap (and remove some offset in the process) in an Accra iCWT shaft and could not be happier. May get it in a 3 also vice my hybrid.

You won’t go wrong with that set of offerings. I play the Hogan Ft Worth White and find them very playable. They are more forgiving to me than they look. Also, if you need help in the longer irons, you can always match up with Ft Worth Hi utility irons, which play well and look quite nice too. I generally have played a player’s cavity back (like Apex Pro), but the Hogans are the best sticks I have played for my game. For reference, currently play to about a 3.

All good sticks. I have less knowledge on the Hogan’s but I have hit them and they were nice. They did recently just partner with club champion so they should be available there for testing and fitting.

of the other two, I would pick the mp20s. For one, I am a mizuno fan. And 2, I think they have a better shape than the T100S.

otherwise playability is the difference between a 10 and two 5s.
