Thanks YouTube Guy! Oil Quench Finish - Wedge Makeover

So, many thanks to Rad Adams on YouTube (link below) for teaching me how to do an oil quench finish. It came out beautifully.

Pic below shows the Gap Wedge original and the re-done Lob Wedge. This is actually an old favorite of mine, the Acer XS (simple, nice-feeling 431 head with a little added forgiveness from a small cavity). Prior to finishing, I ended up removing close to 7 grams of material putting a new grind on the sole: I like being able to lay it flat and prefer a lower/tighter leading edge. To finish it off, none of my ferrules were looking right to me, so I made a "faux wood" one using a white ferrule, brown Sharpie, acetone and spray lacquer.
