Not seeing many reviews on here ,or the web for some reason( I wish Mark Crossfield(???) would review them).I had to have a set of the j40's & I received them this week.Hopefully the weatherman is wrong about the forecast,because I need to play these in the AM!!!!!

Wilson has got to be the best irons that nobody talks about (at least these days). I'm old enough to remember when Wilson forged blades dominated the tours... But that was long long ago in a galaxy far far away...

I tried the Ci6 and Ci7 irons a few years back and was blown away with the performance and feel. Went back to my Pings for a while tho and then I happened across the FG v2 irons. Wow what a sweet looking set of sticks! Wasn't sure if I could handle the lesser offset from the i20s but they just felt so good in the shop and I have this sickness that requires new clubs every so often. So I got a great deal on them and took them home. I have played 3 rounds so far and any concerns about playability or forgiveness or whatever have totally dissipated. The Wilson's have a great forged feel and enough forgiveness for this 14 handicapper to be totally comfortable with them. My faith in these sticks is increasing every swing. I have even gone back to the 4 iron in the bag and removed the hybrid.

The thing that impresses me most I think is the more than I expected forgiveness factor. I swear these are 95% as forgiving as the i20s if that gives you a reference.

What can I say? They look great, feel great, and the KBS shafts that come factory are awesome. Even the Lamkin cross line grips are good. I got these on a close out because the new M3 model just came out. Best $599 I ever spent on any golf equipment period.

I have been trying to get him to do some miura or scratch reviews for awhile. He says he reads everything that comes in but I have had no luck.

Just ordered wishon 575mmc with recoil T800 f4 shafts . hit the head on the range and have never felt anything so sweet. Even if u don't buy a new set, go to mcgolf in Waverly, Ohio and feel the pleasure
