Has anyone tried this hat? If so, what do you think?

I have it and it is great. First thing you do when you get it is soak it completely in water per the instructions. After it dries it is conditioned and you are good to go, dry or wet.

Two older gentlemen I play with from time to time swear by theirs (and under them)!

I like more of a poplin so I use a Tilley or one of those wide-brimmed Titleist type ones. Looking at straw for upcoming season just to change it up.

Ball caps as well, need to remember the sunscreen.

I ordered one on Amazon last night for $45...free shipping too. My neck/ears get burned and I figure this will help. I have wet my ball caps in the past, but they weren't really designed for that.

The interesting thing is that this hat is advertised as Made in Australia, it is offered by Amazon Australia as an "International product from outside Australia" and the brand/vendor is based in Phoenix AZ

The one I purchased is made in Australia. Don't know what else to say. :-)

I bought one in Scottsdale a few years back and it worked great in the Arizona desert. Brought it home to Arkansas and my head basically suffocated in the humidity; they don't work well in the south.
