Hzrdus SMOKE green VS. SMOKE black

I ordered both for my driver and I'm curious on the testing and results for distance, Spin, and launch of the two for anyone that has tested them or played them both in the same head?

Is either of them a lower launch or lower spin than the other or is the only difference the weighting... and the distance and spin would be very comparable?

I've tried both in the 70g 6.5 versions. The Smoke black was an ok shaft for me and I was able to keep the ball in play, but Hzrdus shafts, generally, don't suit my swing (I have a smooth transition and tempo), though I loved the original Hzrdus Black.

The Smoke Green, in my opinion, is a horrendous shaft. I couldn't keep it on the planet, distance suffered, I spun it like crazy (couldn't keep it under 3000rpm with a driver), and it feels cheap to me. Easily the worst shaft I've ever tried.

But, each person has a different swing and you may love the Smoke Green and hate the Smoke Black.

I dont have numbers but i was smoking both of them very similarly in the same head, hard to tell which won, i love the black as ive played it in an epic flash sz an it was deep, the only difference i really see is the green feels muted to me less responsive but results were good with both,wish i could see numbers. I think the Smoke Black is one of the best driver shafts ive played for low spin and launch

I too love the Hzrdus Black in my old Fusion. Completely transformed the club.

Tried the Epic Flash SZ 18 months ago and it worked great with the Hzrdus YELLOW. Just for fun I put my Black in it and it was awful. Agains, just for fun I put the yellow in my old Fusion and that combination was awful as well. Go figure.

And the Yellow I have in my EFSZ works great, even though it's made for a smooth transition and I have a very quick one. Again, go figure.

I also hit the Hzrdus Green recently in the new Sim just for giggles and that worked pretty well. But no sale, not interested. I get pretty much optimal numbers (for my puny swing speed) with my EFSZ with excellent consistency and control,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so there's really no point in looking elsewhere.

Ya basically have to try any and all combinations.

On paper, the Smoke Green and the Smoke Black in the non-TX flexes are basically the same shaft, just a touch more butt stiffness in the Green. In the TX flexes however, they completely diverge. The Smoke Black TX (according to TT) is an even stouter, lower torque version of the original HZRDUS Black, super stiff. The Green TX is like a T1100 but with a massive butt/upper mid stiffness boost from the use of those Hexcel fibers they advertise.
