What finish is this? Copper or Bronze?

Looks to be manganese bronze

Bronze you can tell by the sound slot.

I’m still hoping it’s copper(it’s in the mail to me)! But the majority says that it’s bronze. The greenish tint to the patina is what has me hoping it’s copper.

Are you sure? I see copper versions of this on Ebay, unless they have them labeled incorrectly?

Guaranteed.  In that era they made putters out of Bronze, Stainless Steel and Beryllium Copper, but never Copper by itself.  It has only been in the last few years that they brought out copper putters (mostly milled).

They can be deceiving in their looks, I thought my Zing was copper, so I gave it a coca cola bath, which made it look even more like copper, then I sanded and buffed it..... and it definitely ain't copper lol

I believe that was the reissue Scottsdale. I have one that I purchased new in about ‘05.
