It's probably losing it into the darkness before it reaches its distance to read it. The ball is probably getting lost against the dark sky. The one that had better reads maybe had more atmosphere for light to bounce off of and the MLM was able to read the flight.

Nope. I'd say the opposite, it's fine. I focused more on targets instead of numbers which was productive.

Driver: Callaway Epic Flash SZ 9* w/ Hzrdus Smoke Black

Irons : Callaway Apex Pro '21 5-AW-- S400 (S)

Woods: Callaway Epic Speed 3W

Putter: TM HydroBlast Del Monte 1

I just bought the Rapsodo MLM yesterday to use in my backyard hitting into a net. I was sorely disappointed, it's accuracy was horrible. On the course and at the range, I hit my PW 120-130yds. My MLM measured 90yds. Last week, from 150yds out, I flew the green with an 8 iron. with the MLM, the best distance I could get with my 8 was 124 yds. My 7 iron went 124 yds. My 6 iron went 123 yds. My 3 iron went 128 yds. I can hit a 180 yds punch shot with my 3 iron on the course! My driver was registering 174 yds, on the course and at the range my driver carries 240! I had one drive with the MLM into my net that carries 243, but the rest were 174ish even though they were all struck pretty consistently.

All the great reviews I've read about this, but none of the reviewers are hitting into a net in the backyard. I've placed the device 6ft, 7ft, and 8ft, behind my ball. I have 10ft from the ball to the net. I'm hitting in daylight, in Florida, where it's always bright outside. The netting is black. My hitting mat is green. I've used only white balls.

I've set the device level with my ball, higher than my ball, lower than my ball. I've tried everything and nothing seems to help. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I mean, on the PW and 8 iron, I know this thing is off by about 30yds. I've been playing golf for years and trust me, when I'm 120 out from the center of the green, I always pull my PW out and hope I don't hit it too far and I never come up short, so it's not like I don't know my distances.

Do you have the settings set to display the total yards or the carry yards?

Make sure you’re using the latest firmware.

Thought I'd chime in, I had all the same problems folks have mentioned. So so performance at a range, worthless indoors or outdoors with a net. Shots either don't register or are so inaccurate it's not helpful. Customer service is poor, if they even bother answering. App crashes frequently.

If you have a very new iOS device, will only use at a driving range, and can tolerate an app that frequently crashes, it might be ok for you.

I'm returning mine and I'm going to try the Mevo.

Get your Mevo through Amazon. It's a 15% restocking fee through Flightscope if you decide to return it.

Just thought Id let people know that I am experiencing similar results.  I've only had the option t use with a net in my backyard so far and all measurements are reported very low.  I worked on a trackman all winter and it was right inline with my normal outdoor yardages.  Now my 250-260 yard carry driver shows at 220 on the MLM.  These results are consistent across my entire bag.  Low ball speed, smash factor, club speed, carry distance, etc.  I have been trying to work with Rapsodo, but as someone previously mentioned, emails take so long to try and fix issues.  They really should have phone support or at least have a live support agent available more often than they do. I've tried everything they suggested with no improvements  I think the device has great potential, but it looks like I will have to return it and try another device

I just bought it two weeks ago. Similar results. Hitting into the net in my garage. The carrying distance is terribly low. PW: 67 yds; 9i: 78 yds. 50 yds shortage at least! In addition with a few shots not registered. I have given up. Will return it.
