I got these 40% off recently and they're great.  Maybe they'll run that sale again after Christmas.  The vests are great too.

Just got the new Norse jacket in today.  I wear size L in most all polos and ordered L for the Norse.  Fits fine.  I can see how it would be really warm,  it's a pretty substantial jacket IMO. 

Took some swings in it and it didn't seem to restrict movement too much.  My only concern is the bunching when bent over in address position.  This is the reason I usually go for half zips.  It would be perfect if I could add some adjustments tabs to cinch it up.  Maybe a tailor could do this?

The Norse has double front zippers. Unzipping the lower zipper upwards a little bit will relieve tension at the jacket's waist hem that causes the bunching when bending forward at the hips. So if I unzip the lower zipper 1/10th of the way up to accommodate forward bending at address, the upper 9/10th remains zipped and wrapped taut around my torso with no bunching.

Similar to the one I got.  My sleeves are more like the Under Armour Daytona fabric (very small horizontal ribs down the entire sleeve).

 

Sunice also has some good stuff ... Men's Hamilton Hybrid Climaloft Lightweight Thermal Stretch Jacket - Sunice

 

I have the Hamilton vest from them but the Callaway jacket fit better.

 

I also tried some Sun Mountain jackets, but again, the Callaway fit better (and at the time was only about $40 ... ).  I doubt it is as warm as the Ping Norse that everyone loves, but for the money I am pretty happy.  Better than a similar 32 Degree from Costco that I use for running.  The 32 Degree has an elastic banded bottom (which I do not like for golf) and a hood.  Great for winter exercise (biking, running), but not my favorite for golf.

Another vote for the Sunice Hamilton.  Playing in the NW at 40 degrees with a light thermal layer under a golf shirt (walking) and I'm fine.  It has good stretch in the sleeves and sides and isn't the least bit restrictive. The sleeves aren't insulated, which is why I wear a thermal layer under.

Yeah, really liked the Sunice but the Callaway fit a little better.

I've been using a new Puma this fall. Seriously love it. Warm, and surprisingly lightweight. Have played in 45 - 50 degree weather in it (truthfully all I need ... my hands get too cold to play when its in the 30s and low 40s). Definitely designed for golf, fits snug, but is roomy where it needs to be. Doesn't inhibit the swing at all.

Funny to see this thread near the top of the front page from over a year ago. I did end up getting that UA jacket in the thread starter. Haven’t played in it yet but seems like it will work well.

I picked up a Sun Mountain Colter Pullover a couple weeks ago, it's really lightweight and toasty. Stretches in all the right places for freedom of movement.
