clicgear push cart

Clicgear 4 with a seat.  My son is 12 and sets himself up in 5 minutes and can get it broken down and into the car in 5 minutes.  Got a sand bottle accessory for free and he uses that as well on our home course.  The staff appreciates his effort to keep the course nice for all.

If your CC is a stickler for rules I'd recommend getting the all black model.

Same here, clicgear 4 with a seat. If you have younger juniors, clicgear 4 is a good choice because the top strap is height adjustable meaning it’ll hold shorter golf bags. I’ve seen people having to prop the bag up higher with a basketball on the older clicgear models.

Ugh - we have the older model I wish it had the top strap height adjustable.  Its super sturdy should last for a very long time - we have the seat attachment which is awesome and the large bag that attaches to the back - we throw all our jackets, water bottles, etc in there.

I didn't even know ours had this feature.  Asked my son what some lever did the other day and he explained it to me.  Sort of like how I had to have my 10 year old daughter show me how to change my background zoom screen.

Clic gear 4.0 is the way to go. My daughter has a seat to do with hers. She also has the umbrella holder that can tilt at different angles, cup holder, and sand bottle. We bought the travel bag for it to go in. That is very nice. You can keep the clic gear and all the accessories in it and it zips you and rolls like a regular piece of luggage. Comes in very handy.

echoed what been said ClicGear 4.0 the way to go mainly because of how they upgraded the strap system is a huge improvement. In terms of must accessories the seat, the travel bag. I'm not a fan of their coolers but there are good aftermarket ones that people use. Their coolers are very very small. Great pushcart and worth the money.

I haven't seen the upgrade clicgear 4.0 but also look at the bagboy.  We have both.  The Bagboy folds up better then the clicgear then and has a better seat so we tend to use it more. I also found the clicgear tends to Blow over with an umbrella in heavy wind.

Honestly both clicgear and bagboy are way above everything else.

We have the Bag Boy Quad XL.

Pros:

  • Folds up great and compact.
  • The seat is pretty nice.
  • Durable (on our 5th season)

Cons:

  • The umbrella holder (or at least the one we have) is not adjustable.
  • The strap system doesn't adjust down/up for shorter junior bags (we have a TS-60 bag),so,  I put a small box filled with golf balls at the base to prop up the bag.
  • When parking the cart on hillside, it can tend to tip over (especially if windy or umbrella is deployed) so you need to make sure and park it downhill. Having a snack bag hanging off of a carabiner helps center the weight some.

From all that I have heard, both Clicgear and Bag Boy are great.  Here is ours fully loaded up a few years ago during a 100 degree day.

For those with a BagBoy cart like us (Quad XL), we bought my 10YO a new BagBoy Chiller Hybrid Stand Bag. Has a 14-way divider. It also has the "TOP-LOK® Technology, a patented bag-to-cart attachment system" that is really awesome. Cart is now super stable vs my old rigged up system for putting a USKG TS-60 bag in there.  Note: We are using this bag with TS3-57 irons with no issue.
