Cleveland wedge delay

I am taking the dive into cleveland zipcores coming from vokeys... I thought. 

 

Placed my order Dec 14th with no delays relayed to me via email until Dec 28th when they said they would be shipping out mid Jan. Today I received an email stated that the s400 TI shafts I wanted in both wedges is now not expected until mid March. Anyone else have their cleveland order delayed? I'm debating on canceling and going a different route.

It’s not just Cleveland. There is a pandemic that is effecting product supply chains worldwide. My company is still and anticipate these issues continuing until late summer early fall.

Yes, I tried to order a 50 degree CBX 2 Black Satin in S400...same thing. Mid March.

This is why you need too have your Spare Custom Wedge Shafts at home,ready for installation...no one anticipated the wwd delays.Just by luck i bought a few more spare wedges jan feb march with good shafts!

I'm aware. My business is in the same boat. What I find weird is that they don't mention to lead time when you are placing your orders. They email after you already paid which I don't agree with.

I talked to the hard goods manager at a large off-course golf shop. He said the supply chain COVID disruptions take two main shapes:

• Assembly site personnel layoffs and temporary furloughs due to workplace exposures, and forced closings
• Component manufacturing sites facing similar disruptions
• And, release on some models has been delayed, meaning "off the rack" items are selling out more quickly than normal. Fewer people want to wait for next year's superclub.

Every brand is on backorder currently. Just received my Zipcore wedges yesterday which I placed order in mid November. Titleist items are still on the way which was ordered in December. My friend's Mizuno irons that were ordered 6 weeks ago still has not arrived.

I just placed an order for a raw 48* with a Modus 125 wedge shaft this morning.  We will see how long it takes.  I'm going to be surprised if I get it in less than a month with all these manufacturers experiencing delays.

I assume this is part of the reason as to why Cleveland doesn’t have S400 shafts listed on their website for the zip core wedges? Went to place an order for a pair of raw wedges and it’s not an option?

I just noticed that. When I ordered my wedge yesterday, I went straight to the Modus 125 wedge to try out. I normally use the s400 in my wedges.  Fortunately, I still have a s400 I can swap out and put in the 48° I ordered if I don’t like the Modus wedge shaft.

I’ve been debating what shaft to use in my wedges besides the s400.  I have PX LZ in my irons and normally do s400 in my wedges.  I really have never had luck with the spinner type shaft so now idk lol.

Same here. I've always played wedge flex and ordered s400 because I play TI x100 now in my irons. All the reviews online i've read about the spinner shaft say its very whippy. I'll just wait and hope they email me saying I will get them sooner lol

So I ordered my Zipcore Raw 48* with a Modus 125 wedge shaft on 1/8, and I got a shipping notification early this morning.  It should be here by Tuesday, 2/9.  It was a little quicker than I expected.  Looking forward to testing it out.
