Ping ISI-K Raw Shaft Lengths

I am attempting to reshaft some of the wedges in my ISI-K (standard) set that was made back in April of '96. I know the club lengths for all of the set but what I don't know is what Raw shaft lengths I should be looking for.

The PW and W2 are both 35.5in in club length. 
The SW-S3 are all 35.25in in club length.
The LW is 35in in club length.

I see all sorts of sizes for pulled shafts all incrementing by .25in, but seeing how I have never reshafted an iron before I am not sure how deep the shaft goes into the hosel.  It looks like it is ~an inch, will I be safe just buying a 1 inch shorter raw length for each of the sizes above?  Anyone have any experience / information that they might be able to pass along?  🙂

Reshafted BeNi ISI's this past summer.  Measurements were:  hosel depth = 1", BBTG (bottom bore to ground) = 1".  BBTG + shaft length = playing length.  Have to be believe ISI-K's are the same.   ISI's have  .355 hosels, requiring taper tip shafts.  One issue to be aware of with pulls into non-ferruled irons.  Depending on the amount of shaft prep that has been performed, if it's more than 1", the prepping will be visible above the hosel (if that matters).  Ping epoxy is notorious for requiring a lot of heat to break the bond.  Torched the hosel for ~4 minutes before finally giving way.  Otherwise, a straight forward reshaft.  

 

Be sure to fully seat the shaft into the bottom of the hosel.  A couple of firm raps of the butt end on a hard floor surface will do it.  Try it without epoxy first to get the feel for this.  The head and shaft can still be adjusted for orientation once glued.  

 

There may be some swing weighting issues to deal with when changing shafts.  But don't want to over complicate from your initial query.

Fellaheen51, thanks for the info!  I am nowhere near qualified to do the work, I am just trying to get together the shafts for the irons I am replacing them on 🙂 .  Basically my wedges are a different shaft than my 3-9 and I want to get all the shafts to be the same.
