Looking to step up my golf apparel and absolutely hate shopping. Saw an advertisement for Short Par 4 on Facebook and seems like a really solid deal. Has anyone used this company before? Would love to hear some feedback.

I still do SP4. Because SP4 isn’t a sponsor of WRX, any conversation about them gets binned pretty quickly. 
 

A few years ago, we were allowed to refer others to SP4 using our referral codes. This gave the new signee a box for $20 off to try the service and the person who signed them up, a half price box. I had so many referrals, I’m still getting 1/2 price boxes. 
 

So it’s worth it for me. $25 per month, I certainly get a wide variety of stuff I wouldn’t normally buy. I get to try things on the cheap. If I don’t like something, I sell it over on FB in the “one box trading page”. It’s a closed group anyone can join and folks sell their stuff most every month. Not everyone likes everything. It’s a good group to join just to see what everyone is getting. 
 

For $50 a month, you’d better REALLY hate shopping to make it worth it. Some months are awesome. Like 2 name brand polos. Or a polo and shorts. Other months....I’d be pissed if I paid full price. Last month was a pair of pants and a belt. I can’t remember the brand but it was likely Puma. The thing is, they don’t carry my size in pants, so any pants they send me don’t fit. So I sell them. I never wear golf pants on a course. I’ve emailed them more than a few times to tell them to send me something else on “pants month” but they don’t do that. 
 

In the old days, everyone got different stuff within a group. Now, everyone in that group gets the same thing. Same color, everything. So last month, everyone in the “loud and wild” group got grey pants with an orange belt. 
 

The FB group used to be a “trading page”. But now everyone gets the same thing so it’s mostly buying things others don’t want. 
 

I digress. 
 

In conclusion, I’ll be staying with SP4 until my 1/2 price months run out. Then I’ll likely cancel.

Basically, if you are near a Ross, you will find the same deals but actually to get to pick what you like. I've done it a few years and recently stopped. Merchandise is fine based on MSRP, but I've never been one to pay MSRP so value to me is greatly inflated. I live around a handful of Ross stores so probably spend the same amount a month but pick styles and colors I prefer. Watch some of the SP4 openings on You Tube and it gives you a good long range idea of what to expect.

If you hate shopping I feel like you'd be much better off finding one type of polo and pants and shorts you like the fit and feel of and just buying them in a bunch of colors and be done with it. The stuff you get from those boxes tends to be manufacturer overruns and things that just didn't sell. Because of that there's often weird styles and colors and if you're at all particular about the stuff you wear it might be more "miss" than "hit". And it's almost never a good deal since most of it is stuff similar to what you'd find at a Ross or Marshalls or TJ Maxx and you could have your pick of what you want for a similar price. IMO, even if you hate shopping it's still better to find stuff you actually like and just buy that unless you both loathe shopping and have a super diverse sense of style or don't really care what you wear.
