Withdrawing from a tournament

2021 year hasn't been good to him. He has gone T40, WD, T36, T64 and WD. The only thing propping up his 20/21 season is his solo 2nd in the US Open and his T2 at the Shriners but that was back in September / October of last year. Without those two events he has a whopping 45.6 FedEx Cup points which puts him between Nelson Ledesma and Mark Anderson in 181st place (losing your card territory).

Ooofff... Lost a lot of respect for Wolff WDing this weekend. Grind through it and figure it out.

This weekend my son had high hopes. Went to his tournament and his driver was immaculate, long and straight and he was in great position on every hole with nothing more than a 7 iron for approaches and normally a 9 or wedge. Beyond that he could not do anything right with something off in his swing causing him to hit it EXTREMELY fat. This lead to an abysmal score (when I say abysmal I mean ABYSMAL) but he never thought about or asked about withdrawing and I never even considered it. Lets call it what it is, withdrawing due to poor play is quitting and trying to justify with ridiculous excuses. Suck it up, fight through, and grind. By sticking with it he figured out somethings mentally and swing wise he has to work on so we aren't looking at it negatively but as another step in the right direction.
