High Launch - Mid Spin

I loved the Oban Purple many years ago and was wondering if there was a similar performing shaft at a reduced cost in today's market? I am intrigued with the Aldila Ascent, but I was curious if the HZRDUS Yellow would achieve the same goal of high launch with moderate spin.

In my experience, the HZRDUS yellow is more of a mid/mid shaft. A great but seldom thought of high launch/mid spin shaft is the Graphite Design YS Nano Reloaded. It's a VERY similar profile to the Tour AD IZ, but without all the high-end materials. Still has that great GD feel though. If you ever tried one of the YS or YS+ shafts back in the day, you know what I'm talking about. I would check ebay to see if you can find one. Should be a really cheap shaft to try at this point.

I talked myself into buying a YS Nano Reloaded. Found a new 6 X for $65 shipped on ebay. Seller has two left if interested. The YS 6+ was my favorite driver shaft back in the day. A newer, updated version has to be pretty good.

GDI Pershing would be the miracle find!! YS6 smooth and midhi.The duamana illima 61 ,in red, may also work,915 pull?? cheers

Diamana RF if you can find one used. It's high launch/mid spin with great feel.

I've got TWO Pershings. One in a Cleveland Classic 310 and another one that I tried in a component head of some sort at 44". It had a pretty deep bore, so the prepped area is a lot longer than normal. If it weren't for that, it would probably have a PING or Callaway adapter on it right now. That Cleveland Classic is very, very good though. I'm gonna throw that in a bag with Callaway Warbird fairway woods and a set of PING BeCu Ziings for when I want to play a nostalgic round with some great old clubs. Sorry OP.
