2022 Updates to my bag. Completely changed out the top end and then switched up my wedges. Also went back to an old faithful putter at the end of last season.

 

Driver: Sim 2 Max 10.5

Pretty set for the season (I think 🙂). Have been adding to this bag piece by piece over the last year or so. Definitely the most content and comfortable I’ve felt with my equipment since I started playing about six years ago.

Appreciate that, playability is huge to me with these sticks. I feel like I can count on all these clubs to do specific things and keep me out of trouble.

Just swung those JPX 919’s in the store today and they were silky smooth for sure. How do you like them so far?

How do you like the 16.5* 3-Wood? I’ve got a new 16* 3-Wood...is it a big difference between 15 to 16.5?

JPX’s are new in the bag so have only gotten out with them in two winter rounds and a bunch of sim time but man they feel really good. A step up for sure from my Rocketbladez, which were my first set of irons and lasted me awhile. I fitted into the 921s before the season ended last fall but always liked the look of the 919s a bit more. Cleaner imo.

 

I love the 16.5 simply because it launches higher. Have actually gained distance because of the height I get on it and accuracy because it comes down a bit softer. I’m a smooth swinger so I need equipment that either launches or spins a bit more so the 16.5 helps a ton.

Also good to know on the 16.5* 3-Wood...can’t wait to game mine in the Spring and see how it goes.

Good start for the new shiny mizunos, 11 greens hit yesterday and 12 greens hit today. I finished last season at 52%. 
 

The Spider X while not showing in the stats is also really confidence inspiring. Had a bunch of mid range putts right in the jaw that were just a roll or two short. Once the greens northeast speed up I feel like I’ll be draining them.

Nice bag.  I had similar clubs for a season but with i200s rather than the Mizunos.  One of my favourites setups of recent years and I am not sure quite why I changed them!

Thanks! Going on season two with them and have so much confidence in them. I love my Mizunos.
