Scratch on Crown of Titleist TSi3

I tried Meguiars Mirror Glaze 205 on an old Titleist 910 head, I used it with a Dremel Polishing wheel and it works fairly well

I also tried Nu Finish Scratch Doctor on a 913 head, using a soft cloth and rubbing it in thoroughly, this takes a few minutes, then let it dry to a haze and wipe off using a soft clean, then do it again, depending on how bad the swirls and scratches are, you will need to repeat the process 4 or 5 times, but it works for most scratches, so that's good, probably not the quickest way to get results though.

Then a golf pro friend of mine gave me some Farecla G360 Super Fast Compound to use with my Dreme, and personally for me this stuff is much better than the Meguiars Mirror Glaze and the time consuming Nu Finish.

I took my time applying the compound using my Dremel, its transparent in use, so you can see defects being removed as you do it, which is a game changer and is what I love about G360 the most !

All my Titleist drivers and fairway woods are gloss black, so Farcela recommend for final polishing of the head, to use some G360 Super Fast Finish, and this really did bring back the lovely lustre and gloss finish to all the driver heads that the pro and myself used it on, my 915 and TS2 heads now look like new again !

G360 Super Fast Finish is also transparent in use, so you see the gloss finish being enhanced as you use it, I can see now why my friendly pro uses it 🙂

Interesting. This Farecla doesn't appear to be too available in the States.

The official importer of Farcela for the USA is

Saint-Gobain Abrasives, Inc - North America   https://www.nortonabrasives.com/en-us/farecla
Norton Saint-Gobain Abrasives One New Bond St., Worcester, MA 01606

They may be able to tell you who they sell to in your area, shame that Farcela in America is unknown 😞

Considering using ScratchX on my TSR2 face which has a few scratches similar to the TSR above in the thread.

I don’t think anything will take a scratch off the titleist driver / wood face. This thread is primarily advising on the painted crown portion of the club with a buff-able clear coat.

scratches on the face of a metal wood these days won’t come off, and will likely just get worse.

No simple way to remove the scratches (ball marks) on the club face w/o totally stripping the 'decorative patterns'.

I am an amateur auto detailer and after investing way too much time and money on over the counter products (from local auto stores), ended up with the Menzerna line of polishes. They are fantastic and work exactly as described on their website. My german cars have dark paints which scratch, swirl easily. Doing a full polish + seal job once a year keeps them looking perfect. I have used one of their medium cut and superfinish polishes to remove scratches on my driver, fairway crowns and they turned out great
